i dont think people will check back before moving off, i was surprised there's such a thing as check-back when i started learning bike because i dont see any bikers doing this on the road :cheeky:

almost hit by a car? the car cutting into their lane?

yeah...check back very important, especially when you are moving off from a traffic light junction, or a slip road...cos you never know what will come behind you at speed :)

i find blindspot more important especially when u are turning or changing lane. for check back if u are going straight and not near to any bend most likely if a car is to knock u he will knock u straight from behind which will happen even if u check back.

my favourite instructor is Mohd Nizal, very good instructor who gives alot of tips and personal guidance to those weaker students even in circuit revision. I have sent a commendation letter to him for his hard work. there's few more who are good, like Mr Loh who took me during my last two CR. Will be back there for my class 2A and class 4 after they move to woodlands
