Sounds like wat i said to many of my lady friends lol!!

Lol double upZ for that

Mine abit more extreme though

Me : Mum , i took 2b licence leh.. i wan ride motor.

Mum : huh dun wan la so dangerous learn can liao dun buy laa..

Me : er.. actually i just passed ytd and i bought a Nsr150 last week =X its downstairs now lol

Mum : ... oh welll

Then 1 year later i got my 2a and changed to a cbr4. she said

Mum : eh y nowadays ur motor sound so different ah?

Me : oh.. last time 150cc, now 400cc ma..

Mum : wah u wanna die ah.. buy so big cc for wad!

Me : seh bin leh.. sounds nicer also ma.. LoL

When i changed to my c2 bike she gave the wanna faint look lol!! when i told her i change bike.

A few weeks ago when I broached the subject of taking up Class 2B lessons (I used my encik as cover .. I'm good at looking for scapegoats!!) My mum was very not happy.

Conversation was thus:

Me: My encik ask me to jio him for Class 2B leh..

Mum: Oh... what is Class 2B?

Me: Motorcycle

Mum: WHAT!!! Your encik needs to be slapped!!

Me: No lah, I also think if one has Class 3, should have Class 2 B. Better mah.

Mum: ....... Ok. But cannot buy bike.

Me: No guarantee.

Mum show one darn pissed face, I ran away.

I would prefer not to surprise my mum with the "Got the licence, bike is downstairs" stunt.. although almost everyone says DO IT!! and I could actually really do it...

took my 2b/2a/3 at bbdc..

jumped over to ssdc to enroll for my cl 2 yesterday.

i noticed that its hard to find a slot esp on weekends... is this normal?

And I was wondering.. The "public" helmets hanging around the rack... Do they rotate helmets for cleaning after each session or its always there?

sorry for asking too much question :s

If U have difficulty getting slot. U can PM me and I will give U my contact:cheers:

We rotate the helmets alternating sessions but it has been raining frequently these few weeks. no chance to dry. Advice is to buy inner liner from bike shops or use SSDC inner liner.

Invest in a good helmet, if you intend to ride on the road after U have passed. No need to buy "Branded" helmets that cost hundreds of dollars but advisable not to get a helmet that cost less than 5o bucks becuase your head cost more than that. Go, look see and get something that you feel that is within your budget. If not enough cash, temporary bear with the school hekmets and save up. You can get a good helmet below 200 bucks from reputable shops that you find on this website. Take care:cheers:

i tink ssdc shld invest in a dryer to dry the helmets

heard from my frens who take in bbdc .

everytime once they finish prac just throw inside.

for hygiene purpose i tink it would be a good addition.

Dryer = maintenance, breakdowns, utility costs. Just spend $28 get a basic minimum helmet ah, if buy in bulk, maybe got discount!

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

I have sensitive skin. My skin developed rashes when I used the SSDC's elbow & knee guards. I would strongly encourage ladies to get your own helment and guards. You won't want to have pimples on your face right? :shy:
