Hi all I originally joined to find info about the CB400 2009 which is quite rare where I am.

I now also have a CBR250 2011.

I am coming for a holiday soon and was curious about some bike shops to visit, and possibly maybe a training facility for getting both car and bike licenses. If someone can let me know who the better operators are that would be great as I am seeking business partners in both Malaysia and Singapore.

Also if anyone needs something brought from Perth Australia say hello and I may be able to get it on the plane with me.

See you all soon

Finally if anyone is interested in some crashbars and combined topbox rack for 2011 CBR250R, I have a nice design.

Expect I will be in singapore after the 20th, not sure when i am working my way down from thailand

Bought a screen from motorworld, and some nice summer gloves, on a brief stopover before thailand

Am actually curious about getting license as am unlicensed friend needs license fast

And in perth australia that takes 1 year, I have found out

A bike license in sing takes a month or two.

For a car how long would it take? Shortest possible time assuming

Someone can pass 1st time

LOL, Ev. We kinda work a bit differently. You are probably thinking that like in Oz or US States. You get a out of state licence and can start riding back in Oz?

Unless you are going to be working in Sg for more then 6 months. Your current licence from Oz, will be accepted here in Sg. After 6 months, you are still here, will mean you will have to take a test to get a sg driving/riding licence to continue driving/riding in sg.

For a riding licence in sg. There are several processes/limitations. And yes. one can get a riding licence for a below 200cc bike in a month. A lot of time and dilligence spent. We are talking about Morning, Afternoon & Night spend at the riding centres doing classes after classes. And then to take the test usually a month later or earlier if you are lucky and get the licence.

And you might want to check with the Ozzie Driving Licences Dept.

You might get a riding licence here in sg. But they might say that if you are not Singapore for more then 6 months, they will not honour that licence kinda thingy.....it works like that in sg.

Singapore is a beautiful place to visit. There are so many beautiful things which attracts the visitors and accommodation provided in Singapore is very good. But it can not be denied that the Byron bay in Australia is another heaven on the earth. And the accommodation services provided by them are really awesome.

Just another input, Singapore is not really bike friendly. There are some shopping centers which do not allow motorcycles to come in.. So just take note there. But on the other hand, some which allow bikes to park for free... so trade off i guess.

"Wolves and sheep will live together in peace, and leopards will lie down with young goats, calves and lion cubs will feed together, and little children will take care of them. Cows and bears will eat together, and their calves and cubs will lie down in peace." Isaiah 11:6-8
