Since Brownkai missed the chicken wing when we had the last outing there, can I suggest that we fix another outing there?

 

How about next Thursday 9pm?

just got my X8 1 week ago.. Top can hit only 110 to 120 sometime... is it normal?

normal...its a 200cc... dun push too hard on it... most important is enjoy the comfort ride and storage...

Hi Guys! i just got my X8 3 days ago. Is there anyway i can lower down the height of the bike? Because i cun flat foot when stopping but i can do it on my S4. haha! i just notice after payment. But this bike look great and full of storage.

Btw, if there's any meet up can i join? i need to know more about X8 and take a look at others X8 mod/diy.

I myself am quite a newbie too but nevertheless this thread offers lots of info regarding our machines. For meet ups hmm.. we would have to wait for Brownkai. Although the thread is abit quiet nowadays, no worries as we could see quite a number of X8 on the road :thumb:

 

For enquiries on your new bike there are always experienced X8 owners in the thread such as firestorm, goldstar, brownkai... hmm the list will go on.

Newbies like myself, Aidan a few more.. i am sorry if i have forgotten your names..

 

Btw, where would you service your bike? You can always drop by a bike shop at Macpherson (end month evenings usually) and you are bound to see some of them... :cheeky: I myself have to head down this afternoon to change my rear tire that had a blister on it... *sighs* this is the second time this year i am changing the rear tire... the first one was dunlop one that out of desperation i changed it a some tampines shop. So hopefully 'botak' could give me some advice when i see him later... :cheeky:

im a newbie in X8 too .. just bought 1 last 2 weeks ... looking for a 2nd hand after market exhaust .. leo vinci prefered .. but GPR also can lah .. anybody ??

Hi,

 

One of the way to lower the height is by sawing off part of your seat..

 

But its a irreversible decision, so give it a thorough thought..

Hi bros..im looking for X8 200 silver front fairing to replace mine..

 

had a deep scratch when my bike fell against another today. Thought of respraying it but i need the bike for my work transportation and it might take days for it to get resprayed. Also respraying might cost a bomb which i cant afford

 

 

Anyone who is thinking of scrapping their x8 200 silver or changing the front fairing to another colour, im keen to buy or trade your existing front faring over from you plus i top up

Those changing their silver X8 front faring to another colour, i'm willing to exchange mine with yours plus i top up.

 

this way, you can get the new faring at a cheaper price. I'll do the replacing for you so no worry

 

 

Silver faring must be in good condition, no major dents or scratches

Yea, that bike does have his sound system on. I think also got purplish light below, like glowing.
