some Bangles/Indiana Jones safety personnel r pure morons...i know of 1 Bangle lifting sup,the jap coy's pet who is sooo arrogant he has even fought with local supervisors over intruding into his office cubicle...imagine that! my personal opinion..never be too friendly with them

 

Don't worry, MOM is already clamping down on this. Nowadays, it doesn't mean that if you pass the diploma you will definitely get registered as WSHO.

 

I think they already realised how much damage has been caused with the exam-less classes.

seriously I hope MOM do something about this... Safety is not a joke, I do hope MOM at least let a Local personnel to do such a big responsibility job.. Getting sick and tired of seeing Bangli & indiana wear Blue helmet and working anyhow... :(:(:(

the developers and clients are constantly looking for cheap alternatives.

 

some more safety is viewed as a cost centre (not a profit centre) kind.

 

if can save, save loh.

 

afterall, cheap cheap safety personnel also comply with the law rite? :)

News update to share with u guys: A Bangladeshi lifting sup @ Jurong Island's SPT project got 4 of his fingers severely crushed when "something" hit his hand as he placed it on a concrete slab..apparently he was trying to signal to the crane op to halt the the lifting op but the op couldnt see or hear him.

 

Bro, heard after the investigation, the lifting sup was trying to prevent the concrete slab which was being lifted by the crane banging onto a column or a steel structure rite?

Well, like i've said in my previous posts, cheaper alternatives, some can really work and comply and knowledgable.... But most are cmi....

 

Not saying that i'm good... But at least i noe i try my best....

Perhaps this case study can be discussed during the up and coming "Tool-Box Meeting", so that all safety personnels can benefit from it, esp those from the Constructions Industries. :)

OK I suggest first. See if you guys ok or not.

 

How about meet up on Monday 4 Jan 2010, say about 7.00pm.

 

Somebody please decide on the place. No need fanciful place. Even hawker centre to me no problem. Just make sure, easy to get parking. Based on the majority of where our bros stay, I think Jurong would be ideal. I'm OK with it eventhough I stay in East of SG.

Wow, if jurong, than i suggest bt timah that stretch opposite beauty world.... Famous place for halal food too...!!

 

But i suggest maybe say around 8 or 9pm? Coz i think most of us workin in tis industry would finish work around 7pm....

Bukit Timah is fine, missed the pratas there, but then hor, we got to find a seat somewhere near our parkng lots, so that when "uncles" or "aunties" come to "put paper" on our bikes, we can see and quickly go stop them before they put... hahahahaha...

 

Also, sometimes quite difficult to find parking lots near the prata shop lei...

 

I know I am being very cheapo, cos don't want to put parking coupons... hahahahaha...

Well, if al-ameen, there's a small area for bike parking.... Can see very easily from makan place....

 

If al-alzhar, than just park by the side of the road loh...
