Hi Guys a quick Q here:

Any on U'll ever heard of a PC getting spoilt? Then it cause the Butterfly Valve 2 nt Fucntion properly

Last week my Bike's FI lights up wen i try 2 start Bike, but the funny part was that everytime i switch off & on Back the Engine Switch, thr FI is gone & it shows the temp like usual. But only wen i crank aft a short while will it turns 2 FI?

Send Bike 2 Agent. He told me Power Commander is the Main Problem?

So he changed my "Signal Relay", unplugged my PC & did something on my Firing Conrol thing, saying that it is also giving way oredi?

He next told me Throttle Body giving up soon also, juz b prepared?

Nw i'm a bit confused?

Bike Start is slightly delayed compared 2 alwayz, i think the power is abit sluggish also?

Any Advice / Tips

Thankz a lot :cheeky:

Just curious, where did u get the PC installed?

PowerCommander from my POV only controls your FUEL/AIR mixture.

Timing MAYbe controlled by a different unit, let say XTRE or something.

So hows the bike now?

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

The FI light will auto off once you off the bike. So everytime you on, you have to wait for the problem to occur then the FI light will reappear. By right PC only manipulate the fueling however it is also tap to the TPS. You can double check with the TPS is zero-ed, meaning 0% and 100% on your actual throttle is same as in the PC dyno link problem.

However I will suggest you remove the PC and ride the bike for a while to confirm if it the PC problem.

At the same time, you can switch on the "dealer" mode and wait for the FI to reappear to see the code. Then you can narrow down the problem.

The throttle body thing GH mentioned might be the secondary valve motor. It is common. The internal soldering is loose. Usually GH only change the whole throttle assembly. The motor can be repaired if the problem is the same as I described.

Nw w/o PC riding all is ok. Only start a bit slow. Wen i crank it takes a 2-3 sec 2 start nt like b4 almost automatically. Also the Power seems 2 b a bit down compared 2 before.

Any Shops 2 recomend Bro, that has a better Idea on fixing these kinds of Probz...

Does the problem persist after disconnecting the PC?

Might not be the PC problem, might be the clutch-in start switch assembly

Hmm, at least it isolate the PC problem. But still got FI light? Power confirmed down abit cause go back to stock right? If not, your tunning is a waste of money liao. The starting part, might be another problem. Usually I will check the battery and the TPS zeroing. The TPS zeroing is the CO_ you see on the meter after you switch to dealer mode. Anyway you can go back Racewerk or HKL. If it is the secondary throttle valve/motor problem, then ask me again, I will ask my friend which shop he bring to repair the motor. But if there is FI light, go find out the FI code, then easier to diagnose.
