Need to change few stuff for my KR, am a newbie, I NEED HELPP! (:

My KR got few faulty parts which is making my riding super SUCKY. I need to change swingarm, Rear Suspension & Speedometer cable spoil so now im riding without speedometer..

 

My bike shop all the price the quote like f*ckin EXP!

 

Speedometer cable - $45

Swingarm - few hundreds

Rear Suspension - few hundreds

 

They most of the time got no specific amount to quote then finally when I change like e.g. I change my throttle cable first say $10-$20 dollar in the end after change I paid $40++

Feel so cheated.

If got any recommendation for a more reasonable price to change these 3, let me know!

Plus i wanna change how my meter look and change tail light. any idea where got nice & reasonable priced offer ?

Republic Motor. My mechanic say must change after he check cos my bike very uncomfortable to ride alredy especially when squeezing through cars!

What do you mean? Poor throttle response at low RPM/ gearing?

Get another opinion before changing anything.

 

There is nothing more appealing to any workshop than a P-Plate rider with a 'problematic' bike.

You sure you riding KR or bicycle with KR fairings? Last I checked KR do not use brake cable.

 

Go to a shop with someone who knows about bikes. A speedo cable should not be more than 20. Going to a bikeshop with that nice triangle and alone with not much bike knowledge is just putting yourself on the chopping block. Easy prey for the shops.

Sure will. They keep saying alot after my 1 month warranty. I have not done anything to my bike just yet. I dont know how to describe the prob i face when I ride.

swing arm maybe no need to buy new one.. try asking around shops if they have good conditioned used ones..

try ask along the ubi stretch

go ah boy get. if not go malaysia buy and install. very cheap one. but bring cash and go there change. there can bargain also. i always go there bargain. i am riding kr too. pm me i can bring you there. but normally they only open at night one.
