I stayed at KRS Pines just earlier this year.

Damn! Just threw away the Brouche today because it got wet in the rain.

 

It's just behind Twin Pines which I orginally planned to stay in, KRS Pines and Twin Pines are owned by the same Indian owner by the way.

KRS Pines has a garden and the owner allows bikers to park their bike in the corner of the garden at night.

The Indain manager is very friendly and helpful too.

Price is cheap, just a few ringgits more than Twin Pines.

There is hot water there, just a bit sucky, because got to wait for it to heat up, then after that it was super duper boiling hot!!!

 

Just do a google search for it to do a booking. Ride safe and good luck!

i owez go to cameron h'lands by bike more than 15x in 3yrs...stay in twin pines&BB inn(nearby twin pines too)...both are safe to park d bike..most important,at anytime in night in M'sia,plz do lock d wheel with thick cable lock...

I'm planning to do Gerik - Cameron (via Jeli)- Singapore from May 21 - 24.

 

I will be reaching Gerik from Thailand on May 21 morning.

I am heading to Cameron 31 May - 1June 13. I usually stay at tanah Rata. Less crowd and traffice. Used to stay at Eight Mentigi Guesthouse and Father's guest house. Around RM 100 + & - per night.

 

They are so called home stay house. So parking your bike inside their compound is very safe.

In my opinion Equatorial is the best you can get.

Just back from a solo ride to Cameron - stayed at the Equatorial - quite convenient! I was allowed to park on the kerb right in front of the lobby (may be because there were no other bikes) - very safe and convenient! I guess it would be especially worth it for a two-up bike as they have rates that include breakfast for 2.

Location is convenient (esp from Simpang Pulai / Gua Musang): Note that I rode up from Gua Musang and so Equatorial was one of the first hotels I encountered. Once I hit traffic at the highlands (after empty roads from Gerik -Jeli - Gua Musang), was happy to just stop for a shower & a meal! If you are coming up from Tapah, you may want to pick something in Ringlet / Tanah Ratah. For those coming up from Simpang Pulai / Gua Musang, Equatorial's location is very convenient. It is also very close to the road that leads to the Gunung Brinchang & Sungai Palas Tea shop -some nice views.
