road tax is $500 per year..

the insurance will not be dependant on your age...because the "person" insured is the company..not the driver...

i got my insurance at ard $900....

oic.. cos i am rather confuse by the info at onemotoring.com.sg

they classified different road tax price for diff type of commercial cars... thnx for the explanation...

So may i know wat are the exact steps in owning one 2nd hand opel combo?

cos if i not wrong it requires to have a registered company name.. or is there any other way to do so?

my best fren floors the pedal 80% of the time. i sat b4, pick up is superb, it has the punch tat almost all saloon cars do not haf. engine is quiet.

best part is, he still gets 16km/litre min. really superb fuel consumption along with the power it provides.

i might get one end of this yr. will get all the goodies from him since he my best fren ahahha

and the company registration is only a 1 time affair.

No more regrets.

dont think there is any other way to register a LGV except to register it with a company...

oh btw...double cab pickups used to be able to register by private owner....but now not sure...

unless you buy a 2nd hand one...which is already owned by a private owner...

those pick ups can be nicely done up to look like a off roader....raise the suspension & get fat tyres...wooo!

the downside...the road tax is more expensive at $900 per annum cos its considered a Goods cum Passenger vehicle...

insurance also more expensive...
