take away the 2stroke of rs125. take away its soul. this 4 stroke sporties are SOUL-LESS BIKES. i rather ride a bajaj pulsa in this case.

Sound so.. saddist. No la! 2B bike gonna move in time also since motogp is phasing out 2stroke and the govt. kinda like the idea that 4stroke are slower (hence safer) and lesser pollution.

Bro, you can ride a 2 stroke at 40km/h and 4 stroke at 140km/h. Its just because of emission...cannot doubt 2 stroke engines are a more efficient engine in a way, more power for its CC and weight.

Oh! Don't get me wrong.. 2stroke are great invention. (looking at the rescue tools I used in my ns days are so much compact thanks to 2stroke tech). Just... saying la~ LOL!

Goodness, for 12K you could do 3 things.

1)Downpayment for an RSV4 1000cc

2)Almost buy a new S4 Revo fully

3)An RS250 and enough money to do it up back up to speed.

But go for what you like...even if IMO I rather get a kup or a YBR for 2B.

i will go for option 2 most value for money lol

yay.. unless the market for 2A breaks hell loose and started to have all the things coming in and making S4 redundant. :/

Do spectculate that coming soon as with honda and kawasaki pitting against each other. Outer market includes brands that we have not heard from much also pitted in for the 2A category. Majiam stuff like dealim, rieju, derbi and megalli.. all these are getting stronger also. KTM also launching a 400cc bike either way

KTM road bike or 400cc motard? If its their off road or motard, I doubt it will be good for the road, too high a fuel consumption.

Yay... But you see, the market is not determine by what the producers wanna make.. it's our gomen who chooses what to come in and parallel is simply not as flexible as the car market in singapore. Import is darn ex btw.. Currently less than 5 in S'pore have import license. (market now seems more of sports scooter, motard, naked)

Besides.. KTM have yet to announce what kinda bike they are making.. I suspect it's gonna be naked too to pit into the S4 market.

or

just maybe. The japs decided to have like 400cc curbs. That would be thrilling :)

I'd like more motards and v-twins/parallel twin road bikes for 400 section, inline 4s are fine but low end grunt and slim profile is more useful for our congested roads imo.

Having little understanding on v-twins/parallel and inline 4s. Imma try to read up a little then... hehe. But I've tried this bike from yamaha.. forgot the model name.. A class 2 bike that is kinda bulky and huge and it's 1300cc with a V-twin. I rmb someone told me that v-twins is still good and very raw. I did a cross check on that with a B-king and it did feels very different.

Both were naked bike.

Generally RS4 was told by one of the dealer from another shop that the engine is from another parent company paggio already and that Apprilia have decided to outsource the engine part of the project and not doing their own engine. Comparing to RS125 where they still does their own engine and tune em.. Pretty much a lost cause for RS4 from what Ive gathered as it didn't garner the superior torque-ky, slick performance as what it is better known for.

Ok guys... Let me enlighten u guys.. since there isnt any new owners of the RS4 here to give their feedback.. So let me be the first.. Bear in mind that these are only my 2 cents.. different people will have different perspective.. here goes......

got mine in January this year.. The 3rd Rs4 in SG, 1st white one.. Honestly, power is disappointing.. But lets be reasonable, you cant expect much from a 125cc single cylinder four stroke.. cant compare power with the rs125, its a different class.. Handling-wise, however, its awesome! u can go low into a corner, not having to worry about wobbling.. excellent stability..

About engine derived from the parent company Piaggio, its true.. Engine is an improvement from Derbi GPR 125's engine. Difference? Rs4 has got DOHC and fuel injection.. which means slightly more dragging power n better fuel consumption.. did a side-by-side comparison with e GPR125. same chassis, swingarm, hugger..

Tried the bike a couple of times at Johore Circuit. as mentioned, it handles superbly.. only downside was the power... Max anyone have ever gone on the rs4 is 125km/h.. however, i must highlight that the speedo is abit heavy.. when the LCD shows about 86km/h, it feels like ur going at 100km/h.. a recent pacing with an rs125 proves it.. rs4 shows 110km/h, rs125 shows 130km/h.. therefore its either speedo heavy, or thats the accurate reading.. not sure myself..

Aftermarket parts-wise.... There are rumours going around that they will be producing a racing kit which will pumped e horsepower up to 25bhp.. but up to date there is still no official kit available.. accessories, however, some RSV4 accessories can be fitted on the RS4 as they share the exact same head n tail.. stuff like windscreen, mirrors, headlight protector, integrated tail light with indicator, tail tidy, one seater for the rsv4 can be fitted on the rs4.. R&G have also brought in sliders for the rs4.. exhausts u got homologated Gianellis and Arrows..

Price wise i must agree its steep.. now brand new rs125 are the final batch coz they are phasing out e 2strokers.. so sooner or later we gotta embrace the more economical n hassle-free 4strokers.. i must emphasize that the bike is Italian n thus design n quality is definately a plus point.. If riding is one's passion, then one shouldn't question the amount of money involve.. yes you can get a Revo and other cheaper bike, but nothing can beat the feel n attention u get from riding an italian stallion like the aprilia.. again, i must mention, we shoudnt compare it with the rs125.. we should, however, compare to its other 125cc four stroke counterparts like the R125, Derbi, reiju, megalli..

There u go.. my feedback on the bike.. to know more, u can head down to Aprilia Singapore located at 8 Ubi Road 2 #01-13 Singapore 408538 or call 82462269.. Again, these are just my 2 cents.. hope this helps.. Cheers Bruddars!!

just downpaid for my rs4 125.

price-wise, down is low, with installments till 5th year.

free-bies, check with zervex or mah, i personally recommend zervex, Lino is the sales guy there and a very friendly and experienced rider.

getting back on a bike after a year of driving in silly-pores congested roads.

i disagree that its only for rich guys, down is low and its really affordable with the price plans. zervex doesnt charge u other stuff like agreement fees or admin fees, very transparent and very good.

those still on the fence, grab it now coz they have a very good promotion right now with :) cant mention what is included in the promotion coz dont wanna get lino in trouble :)

lets just say that arrow is already approved for the rs4 125 :)

racing in traffic...
