Hi All,

 

After the meeting last night, below are the details:

 

Destination

Sungai Klah Hot Springs Park (Perak)~ 490km one way

 

Date/Time

29th-30th Oct 2011 (Sat-Sun)

6am: Move off from GP esso

Pit stops: Pagoh, Dengkil, Sungei Buloh

 

Speed

NSHW: 130-150kmph

 

Confirmed riders

1. 2wheels, R1 (sweeper)

2. ooitn, XJR1300 (lead bike)

3. FZ1S Hulk, FZ1

4. astrorion + pillion, FZ1

5. :-) + pillion, 1150RT

 

Hotel/Resort Stay

Felda Residence Hot Springs

3 hotel rooms have been booked. RM220 per room per night. This trip is closed. Thanks everyone for the interest :)

Hi,

 

Suggest you do E2 -> E8 -> Route 8 on the way up. After Gua Musang cut thru Felda Aring to Kenyir. You will be laughing your heads off for this route. Come back use your original plan. ;-)

Errr.....any off road???? XJR= (X)Non Jolt Ride...:)

 

Bro Zam, if 28th OCt is not prefered, I am OK also on 5,6,7 Nov. Just one more option to consider.

This is the Route 8 map - 888km, going to very very painful and if interested, I would suggest stopping first night at Gua Musang.

 

Looks fun though as it's riding through the mountains.

hi guys, lake kenyir is quite a boring place....like a ghost town, u guys might wanna stay 1 nite in kenyir, than next day to cameron stay another nite.

 

just my own point of view....no offence

Add me in, I agree with Erotomania. Is not a fabulous places, only man-make lake, go there nothing much to do.

Looks like XJR is only slightly better in touring compared to R1, off road very low score for xjr.

Your CB is a much better bike....so can pillion me?

 

The figures tells me that the CB is better for Off-Road, if you are not the pillion...haha. Get it!

 

For XJR, thats a different story. Most dirt bikes are air cooled. Low maintenance.. XJR is just the biggest dirt bike there is.

Guys just go where ur heart takes u. I enjoyed going there. Arrive 1st nite and next day take a boat ride around the lake. For crowd ride out to the town and spend time at the pasar malam. Sorry this time round ii cannot join u guys. Need some tips do call me ya.

Planning for a trip to tasik kenyir end of october. Will be using a longer route to go there (E2 >> E8 >> Route14 ~ 800km). Just want to try out karak highway. Going back will be Route14 >> Route3. Havent planned any itenary yet. Confirmed riders please contribute :D

btw lead bike michael wont be able to make it due to national commitments :(

any volunteers? haha

the route will most likely be str8 forward route 3 > route 14 back n forth (~600km one way)
