I tried my friend's DR DRE with my Iphone, it sounds fantastic but it's too bulky and way beyond my budget.

 

So I bought the Sennheiser PXC250 ii which is very compact, suitable for traveling, and half the price of the Bose equivalent, and a fraction of the DR DRE

I have a couple of audiophile friends, 1 of them has a $1000 pair (custom molded etc etc). I just use a seinhesser CX55 though, its good enough for me

Bought my Beats by Dre Studio headphone years ago... 1 of the best headphone i owned (terms of quality & bass)but its too pricey and i hardly use it ever since i got my 1st bike.

used to be proac user but switch to spendor bookshelf powered by pre and power with 5881 tubes...:cheeky:

Spendor? R they still represented in sg? Recalled eerily real vocalz by spendor in the showroom many yrs back. Don't know much abt tubes but considering to try out audio research pre amp for my next upgrade. Now loaning a devialet to see if I want to go that route instead.

i seldom post in xtreme except buy or sell..usename as chlim73 in xtreme n echoloft as well..but quite sad now echoloft flood with 2nd hand dealers..

No, the devialet is a high fidelity dac, phono, pre & power into one. Many speakers r using the devialet in Hifi shows. Brought in by AV intelligence in sg. Plenty of good reviews, google it. It sounds amazing in my system although could use a little more power.
