Hi old friend,

How does the sintered one perform under hard braking ? Rain ?

Currently using the vesrah kevlar one, wet braking very disappointing, need a longer distance to stop. Almost bang into a lorry once, light drizzling, when the fellow do a e-stop. Dry is ok.

Previously using the sintered pad, with metal compound, give more confidence to stop in wet and dry. Wana compared the aftermarket price with the stock pads, if not much diff may switch back to stock.

Also read from some brake manufacturer, sintered brake pads is recommended for my bike.

I would say feredo is good perforamce for its price include installlation at mah motor @ $20.MY bro and I ride Ver S. I tried SBS and feredo, and feredo is better from my point of view as we changed our pads together last month.

Hi,

you say ferrodo is better for your super4. I also interested to change one ferrodo. BUt I am riding a Bandit 400 VV FP plate one.

However Ferrodo got quite a few different series one.

The one you change is Ferrodo Platinum or other series? (Last time I went LAB, they quote me $20 without installation).

Any good shop where sell ferrodo and install that is relative cheapest? Thanks.

I think Feroddo has three type of brake pad for bikes.

Red packing = normal ceramic compound

Purple packing = sinstered

Another type is of higher range.

I can only see these two model in the market so far? Any one saw others?

jus buy normal pads like SBS..

A relationship is like a rose, How long it lasts, no one knows; Love can erase an awful past, Love can be yours, you'll see at last; To feel that love, it makes you sigh, To have it leave, you'd rather die; You hope you've found that special rose, 'Cause you love and care for the one you chose.

NormalAspirated,

Thank you for your purchase of DP brake pads.

I believe we have been over this the last week, the pads need bedding in before maximum brake feel and bite will be delivered. If you have noted this, you will realise that un bedded in DP pads already give you 20% improvement.

The important issue is the pads performance over a period of time in different conditions, i.e., wet & dry, cold mornings & hot days. They will give you predictability in braking so you will know what the brakes will deliver in any condition. Progressive braking is also another benefit. Giving the brake a hard press is not good practice and is not a feature of a good, well maintained brake system, this will surely result in a hard fall.

If for some reason you are still unhappy with the brake pads, please contact us.

Try not to get those Normal (cheap) brake pad from LAB for Phantom, I changed twice in 3 months as during rainning days, no manner how hard you brake, it wont stop :help: till its hot & dry up. Haiz always make my heart beat faster, will get heart attack.

I am trying on a brake pad recommed by a bike shop, for suzuki, wow the pad is thick & solid. Brake??????????? Superb, Wet or Dry. Never get my fat Phantom skidded before (Front & Rear). But now, it alway sweek...... have to sand every month. Haiz..... Nothing is total prefect. Whahahaha but as long as it brake on time, I am happy. :thumb:
