if you wan tthe best...most widely use by racers here in the States.

Vesrah SRJL or RJL. The best ive tested and compared. RJL is good for the track and the streets as well. SRJL for te track.

Can it use on daily commuter usage?

As long as manufacturer commited "street" or "road use", daily commuting is fine. But the next question you wanna ask would be how lasting. Pads for "track but street usable" wears faster than those for "streets" only. But performance rends to be the other way around.

Not that pads meant for "race only" not good enuff for street or wears too fast, but they only work well under high heat which is the condition mainly for tracks. Commuting wise, we heat the pads only upon braking, and once on highway, pads cool down. Unless we are tokking about a seized brake calliper, that's different lah.

:cheer:

My question is, "racing" pads, do they work well in the wet???

The Vesrah RJL & SRJL is recomended for rcae use only I think. I called Eversuccess; they don't carry this model. Only the JL model; which is for street use. But good enough for me . S$38 per pair. Last time S$35 leh...:bouncefire: :thumb:

well, this is my take, i always felt that the motoworld's pricing on the AP pads are really decent and fair....if you are guning for cheaper alternatives, I would have to say it have to be those crap organics Isumi brake pads. they are absolutely useless and dirt cheap.

he can try goldfren for almost the same price as isumi, much better. ferrado platinium is quite gd too

I am not sure whether asbestoes r allowed to b used in Singapore since i remember reading somewhere that e use of it is banned in many countries as e inhalation of some kinds of asbestos fibers after it break down causes serious illnesses such as cancer.

However, asbestos r good materials for our brake pads as it has high heat resistance.

Yes copper ones which r metal sintered ones will defintely eat into your brake discs faster.

Why dont you just try e organic kevlar ones which provide better braking power and r longer lasting than e ceramic ones?

You can try those which r rated HH (higher friction coefficient) if u require better braking power.

Why four strokes when all you need is two?

I using Vesrah as well. IS any sintered not HH rated?

But this brand have very good review overseas especially the RJL series.

They make very good sound when braking, but never try it before.( Feedback form other overseas forum)

But the JL series do not have very good initial bite....Compare to their semi metalic series

which cost $18 for certain models.

Hi , Im riding S4 v tech III , just brought the Vesrah semi metalic ® , is this pad good enough for rear ? Just thinking get a pair of sintered for front n semi for rear. Any commend ? But i c sintered package write --pls note sintered only for OEM rotor use , is that ok for my original rotor ?

IF u r not into very high speed braking, a semi metallic would be fine....And it have a nice sound at least to mi....Is a bit londer than other pads and have a very agrassive sound when biting......

Original rotors are fine with sintered pads. Just that semi metallic pads have the best of both world like initial bite and rotors life. If u dont ride ur bike long enough to wear the rotors I would suggest sintered pads......

If compare price to price between SBS and Vesrah semi metallic...I would say Vesrah are of better pads....

Both cost less than $20 DIY.....Sound or initial bite.....Vesrah wins....
