This will probably be announced in the 3GSM trade conference come Feb along with other new SE mobiles.

 

A mere 9.4mm thick with the usual slim form factor typical of SE mobiles. I'll guess I'll just wait up for this over the Samsung Ultra series.

yup.. it's a stainless steel finish.. hmm.. in my opinion.. since it's a 2 mp camera.. my guess is that it will cost about 450+ to abt 500+ for new 2yr plan, initial launch.. thereafter.. it will drop price like crazy.. haha..

the salesgirl at the SE counter at carrefour PS already has it!!..

nicelooking fone!!!..

and it doesn't feel flimsy..

the buttons feel solid and a separate flash component costs $18.....

In my opinion, other than being thin and having a good MP3 unit, there is nothing else that is good about the phone. Those looking for a decent camera phone need not even look at this phone as the camera quality is like a VGA camera phone. The Mega bass is good for those music lovers and it is extremely light. When u put it into your pocket, you can barely feel that its there if you're used to a nokia 6230 phone I got mine for 468 and sold it off the next day at a huge loss As i do not like the camera features. Instead i got myself a K550i instead. It is around similar in size but slightly thicker by 5mm and a bit heavier but it doesn't include the 3G features that the W800i. U win some, u loose some...

there seems to be a bug for the W880i. Mine was having technical problems like no getting calls when I have full bar. My contacts was sayin that when they call, it got diverted to voice mail when all my diverts are inactive.

 

Just send it into the SE service centre yesterday night. Collection only this sat.

 

Overall, other than no radio, it's a good phone.

yup.. there is NO radio.. compared to my w900i.. the resolution is loses out for the w880i.. but we cant have best of both worlds!!! the sound beat my w900i in fact!!
