I presume its ok to join part way through the season? I am on the look out for a track bike at the moment so hopefully I find something that suits and can get out there but not sure if I will have something and have it (and myself) ready before the first round.

No due date... Up to you... It's due before you join any event. You can join anytime you want...

To those who have decided they are racing, could you please add your name to the list so I can update the new comers when the briefing is going to be held... Thanks. Hopefully next update, most of the other participants included then we'll start things roling. Keep it going...

No minimum laptime needed... Just maximum interest. Help will always be rendered to those who are keen. We all started from bottom too... so we know what it's like.

I'd suggest including these info in the next SMSA newsletter (if it's not been planned already)...there are riders who don't have internet connection, snail mail is still the best.

Just don't go for the qualifier, and start at the back of the grid and slowly work yr way up on the actual race lor..

Newcomer got no SMSA membership, so can't receive newsletter also...

Like Stroker mentioned, start at the back... Will update all on the briefing date...Early- Mid March... So all interested riders pls add name to list...

If you talking about the briefing, it's not a problem, new riders are all welcome... If regarding the races, you must be a member with competition licnece.

SMSA has received hard copy confirming all dates. First race is Malaysia Race Series, international event. OPEN to foreigners but will not come under the SMSA championship. Novice and Expert classes. OFFICIAL TIME KEEPING, 2 DAY EVENT,full qualifying session on SAT, SUN race. Non qualifiers can start on SUN from the last row.
