Who Be Going Racing at Johor Circuit?

Dear riders, as season has been pushed back and we now have some time on our hands... SMSA is considering having a small 1 day riding clinic at Johor sometime during the 4th week of April, maybe either 24th/26th/27th.

 

SMSA is aware that new comers have already shown their intentions for racing and hence, this is meant for NEW NOVICE CLASS riders who have already registered for their competition licence. Whether it takes off purely depends on number of participants.

 

Focus is on basic stuff like race starts, preparation, basic riding technique and solving rider problem areas and to clear other rider queries. Costs will be in the region of $60-$70. This goes to covering instructor track time etc...

 

We'll ride from 10am-12pm, 1pm-2pm and 3pm-4pm. 4 hours in total and try to get everyone going faster than at the start of the day or at least more confident and have a clearer direction.

 

Once again, sorry for the delay in start of season.. though thankfully some of you are glad(dunno Y)....

 

Please PM me your interest with contact number by 22nd april so we can move things along.

Hi, to all new novice class participants, I'm really sorry for the postpone of the SMSA Clubman race.

 

However, those who will be joining the riding clinic, I'll be there to help out charn and answer any queries if can.

 

Hope the novice class participants will be able to make use of this chance to take part in the riding clinic.

BTW, this is OPEN to ALL NOVICE competitors regardless which series you racing, be it JOHOR or SEPANG. .So long as u have your competition licence registered, you are considered competitor of SMSA.

It has been a great day yesterday at charn's clinic. Clearer picture of probs that we had were pointed out by charn. At the end of the day i personally have gain much from the clinic. Although i have raced in MSS and MRS before but u would not know what u dunno in the first place. If there is another i urge u guys to give it a go.

SMSA championship at Johor Circuit is on. I cannot confirm the numbers now as the MSS championship in KL is attracting a crowd. Will check with SMSA for the number of entries so far and update asap. Currently, zero expert class riders, all novice participants....
