Hey Everyone,

 

I was browsing through YouTube for exhaust systems for a couple of days, and I chanced upon this :cool: The exhaust is extremely beautiful and sleek. In the comments section, I found out that this exhaust is available locally. The video shows that the exhaust was mounted onto a CBR400. I wonder does it fit as well as this CBR400.

 

I am currently riding CB400 (V-TEC 3). Did anyone try this before?

hmmm. if you are using it for track, then beauty and sleekness of the exhaust is not really of much use. what you need is an exhaust system that gives you more power.

try looking for full systems, micron, moriwaki and yoshimura. illegal systems can go for akrapovic.

 

but i am not a pro in such things, so this is just my 2 cents worth. :angel:

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Dragonforce: Appreciate your 2 cents :) but the Akrapovic full system costs $2600 :(..!! Moreover, the Akrapovic exhaust is too expensive to be illegal. Also, I am not using it for track because I had just passed my 2A (at least for the moment). I really do not mind getting the one in the video because it looks really sleek and exclusive (provided it is not expensive)..!!

 

Has anyone tried using this exhaust..? Is it loud :p..?

Initially, I wanted to get a Two Brother exhaust because the sound is extremely loud. But the design isn't very amazing :( Well, I will see how much the carbon fibre exhaust cost first (I am a fan of carbon fibre products :p)..!! Also, I realised that the exhaust from the video looks so much shorter compared to the Two Brother exhaust. Hopefully, it is not too expensive. So I can get one to play with :) At the same time, I am still open to other exhausts :cool:

 

Too many choices...!! Waiting for Stardust83's reply before I make any decision.

why dun u try to get use to the stock power in track first before changing?

went there donkey years ago with my ver s with stock exhaust, think pretty much the only time i wanted more power was at t5.

just my 2 cents worth

I have no wish to visit the track at the moment. The title is indeed misleading (My bad..!! Sorry about it). Like I said, I wouldn't mind using the carbon fibre exhaust because it looks really nice (Provided if it is cheap :)). I do not think that I will visit the track soon because I had just gotten my 2A license.

 

Thanks for your information man. If I cannot find an exhaust I like, maybe I will stick to the current stock exhaust for a while first..? Maybe Two Brother exhaust cause it is loud :p

you mentioned 2bros is extremely loud, have you heard a live one on a cb400 before? and how cheap is your "cheap"?

 

anyway, i have heard of people doing carbon fibre wrap to their pipes. recently saw a fellow forumer who wrapped his blue flame pipe in carbon fibre at $50 at auntie shop. http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/345917-Blueflame-Exhaust-Evo-satin-black-for-cb400-twin-outlet-for-sale?highlight=blueflame

 

blueflame exhaust is beautiful and sounds awesome like a class2 bike. =D

 

lastly, goodluck to you if you get stopped by TP or LTA for using illegal pipe.

2 brothers exhaust for super 4 is not really loud. IMHO !

Blackness: I had once heard a CB400 (VTEC 2) with Two Brother Exhaust. It is really loud. But I cant really describe how it sounds like here. Just ROARING its way through the streets :)..!! I do not mind paying for one if it is around the price range of $400 to $500..? Well, if it is cheaper, of course I do not mind at all :cool: And the wrap is vinyl carbon fibre wrap. Those are not carbon fibre. It adds beauty of it only but no reduction in weight. Talking about Blueflame...!! I just love the way it sounds...!! But I seriously do no enjoy looking at it.

 

Well, I have seen many illegal exhausts roaming around the streets (Yoshimura, Two Brother, Blueflame etc). So I was thinking of getting something much more unique and special. For example, like the one from the video :)

Basically i tink if ard $400-$500 for a 2 brothers end can (old model), is a bit too much.

 

I will try to ask my friend where he got it from and any ways to get it. :)

you are looking for a 'track' use exhaust but not using it for track? So, correct me if i am wrong, you are simply looking for a loud, tp unfriendly, nice looking exhaust?

Sorry about the misleading thread title. I saw this video and it stated that it was meant for racing (That explains the logic behind the thread title). I am simply searching for a "loud like thunder" and "beautiful" exhaust. The rest does not matter to me.

 

Anyway, I have already purchased the exhaust from the seller already. Nice exhaust and no regrets. His information is as follows according to the video.
