Yeah, there are 2 ways to look at our exchange here. 1 is with sympathy whilst the other is with scorn as you'd mentioned. No doubt I don't take favorably in sympathizing the driver because he had caused his wife's death through his mistakes and bad judgement. However, I am still of the opinion that an appropriate rebuke is necessary for him to realize it so as to prevent a future recurrence. Sympathy for his wife's death is a separate issue altogether.

I don't have years of experience but I do ride almost everyday, been to most parts of Singapore and a small part of JB. Met with accidents, seen accidents and all I can say is, **** happens, even if you're not negligent, other drivers or riders are. So yes, no point hating ******* sinkie drivers, just know how to anticipate and try not to die, that's the best you can do.

 

Somemore Singapore alot of FTs, Indiamaris and PRCs and angmohs have horrible road manners...that's why I have them too but that's another story. Sometimes I ride relaxed, most of the time I ride hard.

 

All in all its life, people die, what to do.

It's okay with me as I don't ride too much in Sinkie Land nowadays. So, no matter how the majority of Sinkie drivers will finally evolve into, it doesn't really bother too much to me. Some day, some body will learn, by which time, I hope it won't be too late. Nobody is under any obligation to agree with me.

Whichever lanes i ride on, i am always getting bullied/push around. Tell myself, 2A bikes for transport. Nothing else. Life is more important to maintenance of the bike. If i want maintenance free, i take public transport. Never mind if the MRT spoil spoil spoil. At least i have got reason for taking urgent leave or late for work. LOL

Its not the bike, its just you, they try to push me around, I just use my agility.
