Agreed. Some income to help you along this tough journey...

So basically, people order, then you make. People order, then you make. If you make make make, then people may not order. So in other words, like CMO like that ah...

Will think about it... I only have my left hand..

See brighter headlights... I tried making lots of raizin replica from blue to purple mega raizin, revtec replica(they using ac capacitor, donnue what effect on dc application), ds1 replica.. All not much effect.. Donnue How others feel the power.. Wonder whats on the dyno..

Eh, my meter ah, the bulbs keep blowing like nobody's business. Use the correct bulbs, not the correct bulbs also, the bulbs will blow in a matter of a few months...

Will a voltage stabiliser from the (wherever i should put it, maybe the rectifier?) prevent this kinda crap from happening?

Already my fuel light and one meter bulb blow and my electrically controlled tachometer spoil in a span of one month plus. Bloody Chinese electrics.

sound like your regulator gone,

its integrated in your rectifier.

China bulb.. Hard to find good quality t5 t10 bulbs.. I use led, last forever.. But my led is not the normal diy led everybody is selling in the forum which blows or spoil after sometime.. I tested many kinds of led.. From the well known seller to the cheap led.. In the end, i found the most reliable led from a friend of mine.. But it isnt cheap.. Most led here are diy.. Resistor, t5 plastic socket to mount the led and the led itself.. Even the ready made are diy.. The problem is that these led has resistor for 12v to 2-2.5v.. What happens when is that your bike varies from 10.8 to 14.4v.. So when it hits 14.4v(some 15v++), whats the voltage after the resistor?? BYE BYE LED T5 T10.. I know some will shoot me and try to prove me wrong about their led t10,t5.. Brightest led.. Blah blah.. But ive test lots of led.. Maybe i should make a thread on all my diy stuff.. Got lots of stuff you can diy and hands on..

Then i changed my tachometer in late 2010 and the new one spoil again, the same problem like the old one. Basically the needle will and cannot go over 5k rpm.

16v doesnt last.. I tried the 330uf to 10000uf. It will start to give way after a year on my ybr.. Attached to my rvf or class 2 bikes, i hear fireworks and brown liquid starts to flow out of the hobby box.. Tried on the cars.. Same.. Most voltage stabilizer i opened up used 25v..

IC, thanks for the clarification :thumb:

Btw, the explanation for the use of such voltage stabilizer is to ensure a constant DC voltage out of the AC Generator. Does that means the rectifier is not doing a proper job? In another word, rectifier == voltage stabilizer?

So the best place to put a voltage stabilizer is right after the rectifier?

Rectifier job is to convert ac to dc only... Yeap..

Yes, a rectifier converts AC to DC and from the Wikipedia, it will not produce a constant DC voltage output, a smoothing circuit or filter is required. I assume the bike manufacturers should have know this and a filter would be in place to get a constant DC.

Hence, is there any need to install voltage stabilizer? The output could be the same.

Agreed.. Do take note that the battery also plays a part.. At the end of the day, i dont see these in race vehicle at all..

Hi ts, the negative and positive dont meet based on your welding?

Also, i have a voltmeter. With this installed, this means that the readings will be more constant?

Possible prolong the battery life and better performance and health of your electrical system and parts?
