For all Star riders n Metric Cruiser riders,

 

Sat Evening Meet up and Ride session will be:

-

Start Point

 

8.00 pm at Orchard Parade Starbucks

8.30 pm Move out and ride to Kampong Glam Cafe

 

Mid Point

 

9.00 pm Kopi n Chill at Kampong Glam Cafe

 

10.00ish pm Move out for Ride Part 2 or Home Sweet Home

 

 

For those who can make it and its ur 1st time.. Just look for us @ Starbucks Orchard (near HardRock Cafe) or call me @ 97477660

 

For those who can't make it at 8pm. You are most welcome to meet at at the Midpoint stop at 9pm. Just give me a buzz and we will come pick u up.

the rear shock was taken out to replace the spring but did not have the chance to measure...

 

mayb u can try takin it out if u r a DIY person.

Are the DragStars all air cooled?

 

Is there an issue of overheating when riding in SG?

 

Especially when in slow moving traffic? thanks.

Imho, yes.. all air-cooled..

 

When I rode my XVS400 abt 2 yrs back.. no problems with it. Love the maintenance free shaft drive..

 

Feels like getting the new Yamaha Midnight Star 950..

Yes I saw the Midnight series at HL a few days ago. Looks nice. Its now all fuel injected & belt driven.

 

All are air cooled except for the 1300 which is liquid cooled.

dragstars are getting rarer in sg.. especially the custom model. its a no hassle bike. maintanence low, no big issues, looks cool.. ppl keep!

just change EO and plug only yea.. Need not tighten tension.

yea.. can be found in RIOT's Den thread.. but i think all my pics there are gone when they did the server transfer... so here it is

 

the springer forks and fat wheels are off the bike now.. and bike has since been blacked out.. stealth mode.... whahah
