Hey guys. I'm riding NCS here... been feeling there's something wrong with the engine. On idling the engine has a loud knocking sound. I don't know if it's normal cos I haven't get to compare my bike with other NC's.... Comments anyone?

I got mine at 17109 include insurance. Mine is without ABS.

used to ride a phantom, all bikes are different but dont worry about changing gear timing, its not an issue at all. u will get used to it.

 

since the rev red line is just 6.5k...im thinking whether it will be alot shifting , like the phantom

i can't wait to know more abt the fc from those who got this bike. internet info abt the fc may. better to get the info direct from sg forumers. newblood pls update more abt the fc. my average speed for touring abt the same as yours.

 

FC is around 29km/liter if your rpm keeps within 2-3k... if you go on high rpm and high speed it will consume faster... so far nc700x smelly smelly also got 24km/l for me (between 3-4k rpm and high speed)...

if u got top box can mount it on the top rack, like HELMETBOX?

Or u can try to mount under the sub frame using brackets

Hey, same thoughts myself. Have always like cruiser-style bikes but i absolutely hated all the chrome and shiny steel parts associated with cruisers. This CTX series does away with all that sparkly stuff, a big saving in polishing efforts.

 

Only thing is, i am reluctant to give up my Frunk and gorgeous H&B panniers.

 

Judging from the way Boon Siew handled NC700 series, you probably have to wait till mid'2015 for the 1st CTX to be brought in though.

 

I am keeping my fingers crossed about Honda's promise to develop bigger cc version. A litre + NC or CTX would be great, IMHO.
