any word out ther on the exact cc for the 750 ?

Read that the 670cc, Honda got the idea from chopping their inline 4 Fit 1.3 ( 1339cc ) into 2. I suppose that's why its 670cc.

So the 750 will be based on the Fit 1.5 ? (1496cc), so chop apart = 748 cc?

Thought it would be nice if the 750 was shaft based. Then 670 chain based. So due to transmission losses, both bikes have effectively the same power/torque, just that the feel is diff & for preference.

Hmm, based on reports, Honda will be adding another 50cc to the 670 so it'll make up to 720cc. Therefore, the change from 700 to 750.

Thanks, I used several YTZ14S before on my SW, but are you sure this one is more powerful than stock battery for NC?

Thanks Uncle, lastly may I know is it same size as YTZ12S? Is the China made battery better than Yuasa battery?

Stock is YTZ12S, so YTZ14S is better at same size. The other is slightly smaller. Anyway, 2-3 years batt life give and take.

as it is in euro, 670 less 471 cc = diff of 199.

+50cc the diff will be 249cc. Maybe they are worried that the CB500 is eating the sales of the NC700. (accdg to some mag)

Hence by giving it a "psychological margin of 250cc )" there will be "clearer" distinction between the CB500 & NC 750.

But could also be the pricing.

diff of barely 200cc, the diff in purchase price, add the marginal power difference by the feel of the butt ( in part also due to the lighter weight ), Honda has a legit concern of the 500x eating into 700x sales. But since our dear SG's version is 400, there should not be such a concern over at our bursting at the seams red dot.

Hi guys, recently i experience a fuel gauge issue on my bike. I pumped full tank but my gauge displayed 4/5 and occasionally flashes full bars. current mileage is 9900km (6 months old). Dunno if it's a wear and tear issue? But I think I ever read that someone experienced the same issue before? Care to share on how it was resolved?

My bike is parallel imported.. so... now no more warranty.. =(

I think its still up to individual on what kind of bike you need. Just my guess, maybe for those who hve sold it off within the first year was enticed by the storage space and mileage, but didn't realize the sacrifice of power?

Personally nothing wrong with the bike at all, perfect fr me, rode 1yr 20000+ mileage already. But weigh in yourself why u want to get the bike in the first place, there are trade offs. If it suits your needs, then go ahead you wont regret

Think ppl over estimated the bike's performance. This is a normal bike with excellent fuel economy and low maintenance. But ppl are expecting a 670 cc performance bike... that is the reason why many of them are disappointed and sold their bikes after a yr... so manage your expectations, I manged mine... still enjoying the bike.
