Hi, I'm still very new to bikes and am wondering which of the following would be best for a first class 2B bike. My height is 177cm and weight is 78kg; if that matters. Tell me as much pros and cons as possible please. A practical and economical (as in maintenance and stuff like that won't be too expensive) bike with a good look would be what I'm looking for. I don't really have a strict budget. I would say 8-9k OTR would be the max of my budget.

Yamaha YZF R15, Yamaha FZ16, Yamaha Spark.

Looking forward to hearing your opinions! Tell me anything productive. Even like whether it's okay to put a box on the R15 or something else along those lines. I'm taking everything with an open mind!

FZ16 --> might also be too small for you. It's a very compact bike.. You will look funny on it..

R15 --> I'm 1.7m tall and already feel the R15 is only just nice for me.

As you are 1.77m tall, i would suggest you go seat on all 3 bikes then decide for yourself. You can also consider DRZ125sm or the 2B KTM if you willing to pay a bit more..

spark wouldn't be too small for TS if he doesn't pillion. i think spark would be pretty decent, most importantly, it is practical and economical

however if you are looking for 'good looks', then i think fz16 would be a good choice.

i wouldn't pick r15 if i were you. a box doesn't look nice on a sports bike at all.

8k-9k for OTR (installment). Does that make sense? Haha. Ok but what if I were to choose a R15 and definitely not putting a box? Would you guys still say FZ16? Bearing in mind practicality, economical and good looking factors as well.

i think its down to what u really like. the fz16 is a street bike which fit a box perfectly while the r15 is a sport bike so having a box is a alittle weird imo. both bike are economical and practical for daily transport. i get around 38-40km/l on my r15 so thats good for me.

Fast is slow. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. SLOW is FAST.
