I got caught in kpe when i was riding halfway and i got no petrol, i pull off to the road shoulder.

After that emas recovery came and i told them i no petrol. They called LTA and the LTA guy came down. After that LTA say they will issue a fine to me $100.

I find it damn unreasonable as i am riding a phantom ta150 with no fuel gauge and i was rushing for time. I basically didn't know i not enough petrol for the trip.

Do you know how to appeal to this? They didn't open my fuel cap and check for fuel... or take photos

Maybe you can "re-explain" to LTA that you thought the bike had no fuel, but turned out got starter problem etc. ...

May need someone, such as your regular bike mechanic, to back-up the story.

Comon, to those guys who asked him to change story. Are you going to go through life the same way, shrinking responsiblity all the time? Even TS had accepted the situation.

Thank you TS anyway, for the knowledge sharing. I think half or more of the population here doesn't know about that. Next time we will just say spoil, those guys are not mechanic anyway. They tow you to nearest exit and that's it.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

Failure to ensure vehicle is in proper running condition on the road, failure to check vehicle before going off.

Treat this lesson as paying to learn something that you have forgotten.

Then is it fair to trouble others to tow for u just b'cos u ran out of fuel due to your laziness to top-up?
