How long did it take?

Alittle less than a month.

Some items in my friend's cart will take a longer time, so these items came first.

Nearly 3 weeks.

Not bad now Schnell got 4T at Giant. Its 15W50 and stated exceeds JASO-MA standards and only cost $9.99 per litre. Tempting! They also have 2T at $8.99. Anybody have any thoughts on these products? Since their car oil is getting good feedback from the 4-wheelers.

just bought Mobil 1 15W50 for my scooter ($14.99 at giant on offer now). during higher speed touring runs, 40wt feels like thinning out and vibrations nt too comfy. hope to dial it down abit with the thicker oil. btw, the 15W50 also has legendary status in the biking world. do a search on google and u will understand. no issues with wet clutches so far (but at your own risk!). plus, its on the thinner side of 50wt, so in a few thousand km, it will thin down to 40wt anyway, so it isn't super thick that will make ur engine sluggish.

probably? don't think they changed the formulation. but do it at your own risk if ur bike has a wet clutch. my scooter dry clutch so no issues.

What bike are you riding? I work in Exxon and its confirmed the formula for bike and car EO are different. But I can't say if it makes any different haha. But generally car EO has higher detergent and TBN so in theory, can have extended OCI

How about withstanding higher revs for car oil? Just shorten OCI accordingly?

That one, hard to say, even online studies can't really come to a conclusion. Hahaha Think not enough time to do a full 10000++ km test and such. I do know main concern has always been clutch. If the bike is wet clutch, best to have jaso ma unless its dino oil. But usually what I read is that, car EO generally come standard with thinner viscosity so I don't know if that be good for high revs machines. No experience with such setting.

Ok thanks man. Cux mine is a scooter so i have a wide choice of EO, in fact too much to choose from. LOL. Nw itchy butt change out the BMW oil (feels really vibey at higher rpms) and nw using mobil 1 15w50. Yet to test fully but seems a little sluggish wen nt yet warmed up.

Give and take.

Warming up sucks but eo more shear resistance.

light oils no need to warm up too long but shear faster :(

Naim! try the 5w40 9000 schaeffers!
