To spray paint or decal for gas tank

Hi is there any recommendation for spraying or decal my gas tank?

Preferably those that had experience with bike gas tank before especially for decal.

I would like to change the entire color of the gas tank. Thanks for the feedback!

it would depend on the material of your gas tank

 

metal gas tanks : nothing beats a fresh coat of paint

 

plastic tanks : looks better with customised decal

Thank you for the tips. Mine is a metal tank and was touting the idea of decal so that I can always peel it off and retain the original color. As I'm gg to wrap the whole tank, I'm not sure at the moment if the guys at the decal shop will be able to do a good job, thus looking for recommendation if anyone has good review or experience with people whom had done it before?

As for tank . If u are putting sticker, it will not last long .. Some shop won't even do .. Cuz they say the sticker will peed off easily on tank due to the petrol .. maybe u would like to put on a tankbra ??

Mine do not look good with tankbra... Anyone who had done it care to share some?

the pic u see on my signature is a full wrap done.

 

if u could live with the overlapping lines, then go for it.

 

my tank wrap lasted quite long compair to other parts of the body.

 

try using ur creativity and come out with a design that will not make the overlapping lines that odvious.
