I'm not sure of how Remus sounds like, still enjoying my stock ride.. although not loud enough..

Tuning cost $1K???

Yup inclusive of tuning. The tuner will also be given to you for safe keep. Anytime you 'upgrade' your bike, then you need to go to hd so that they can retune your bike for u according your bike spec. ( e.g change of pipe, cam)

I heard the akrapovic sound is much much better and louder than remus.

Quote 2200 with cert and install. If have group buying may have further discount.

The remus is selling at 1800 before discount.

After that u still can sell away your stock pipe.

Heard the akrapovic, in the stock form, it is a kinda of popping sound. Louder than stock, but still lose to straight pipes.

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.

safety is dependent on rider, not the bike....it will be quite weird to tell u the bike is not safe because i own this bike, and there are quite a few of us riding on 48 as well....u should go and try the bike and feel for yourself...one thing different from any other normal bike is the forward control cos the ride feel is more relax...however, if u wanna to change to mid control, then there will be a lot of sportster riders will wanna get from u as well, cos that's the feel of harley....relax riding style...the following are something u will not get once on harley (my personal opinion)

1. No more zoom zoom 0-100 in split second

2. To go above 110km/h is quite a challenge with the wind blast for open helmet

3. To squeeze in traffic is quite challenging cos the bike is not as nimble as other bikes (probably the forward control)

4. Visit to petrol kiosk will be a frequent thing, as the peanut tank can only give u 100km

Try it out and consider it...48 is a lifestyle bike and the beginning to Customization!!!

I rode my 48 to work daily. Rain or shine. Safely depending on the rider himself.

So far this bike 48 is very fun to ride. Enjoying the ride very time. ..

You should go for the HDS test ride..will be fun.
