Am looking for a good bargain Forty eight :) ...

btw, for the 48 , how big a hole will burn the wallet to install a Quick removed Sissybar and pillion rest ?

as it dun look cool wif sissy...but sometimes need to fetch Home Minister,,,, so only choice is to fix quick remove backrest ...

Also, can we relocate that troublesome air filter that blocks the right leg?

I did the same thing to my 48 too. Change to 2up badlander seat (sgd500), add the detachable sissy bar (sgd500),

And don forget the pillion leg pegs (sgd400).

If u order online will be much cheaper lo.

The air filter will not block ur leg when u ride. Hardly to touch it. Anyway u can change to some after market filter in a smaller size.

i did to my iron. but i think its better only after you fully run in. then u will see the difference..

Hi guys, I'm still new to my HD 48, juz curious to find out about the different types of air filter that a sportster can change to.

They come in different shapes and sizes. I always come across the term heavy breather, stage 1 fuel, what are all these? anyone can share with me? Does changing the air filter changes the sound, performance of the bike/engine? Lastly, can we drop a broquet fuel catalyst into our fuel tank?

haha, i think it's possible, just make sure we stop at any petrol station we come across even if we got 3/4 tank also pump full..

Another alternative is to standby fuel tin with the bike.

But ultimately, i think 48 riding posture is not suitable for long rides.. haha

Hi Bros,

Anyone here knows what happened to Eric/Twins Performance? I dropped by his garage at Toh Guan Road East and it seems like closed shop already. Has he moved somewhere else?

I still have some bike parts with him.

Cheers.

Really cannot stand e bike with a puny sewing machine exhaust. Saw a group of harley riders lasr night. They sound so original harley tone. I really want a loud exhaust.

Remus or ackrapovic? I'm coming next month.

U planning for exhaust upgrade? I'll choose Akrapovic over Remus but am still running in.. Shall consider changing after running in.. Harley should be loud! Haha

I really wonder how to go north with our peanut tank....from full to empty is abt 120km....then pump in another 6L.....scary leh.....

48 tank on high way can go 170km. Local road 150km no problem.

Every petrol station top up. Can take a break have a smoke and drink. Relax and move again.

Don worry la.
