For me, I feel that manual needs more maintenance if the rider is bad wth the clutch.

The chain oso need frequent oiling, especially during raining season.

I agree. I feel that there is a lot less day to day care I'm riding the Pcx. Maintenance I think it is just more work for the workshop but less on the rider.

I have heard the PCX do need to check valve clearance quite often but besides that someone told me it is a lot less issues compare to the Korean and Taiwanese ones. My feel Thai made wun be as good as the Japanese ones. But quality still pretty compliance to Honda standards or what you can expect from Honda.

About valve clearance issue, that's is what I read online too. Some of the ang mohs even get their valves adjusted at first servicing. However I have checked with boon siew and they told me only need to be done after 100,000km. Makes me wonder.

I thought Yamaha got that Tmax. The reviews were fantastic but it is a class 2.

:D

I was told Boon Siew will check at 10k servicing. But i haven't heard much problems about the valve from the angmo forums.

Yeah, I read that too. Those guys do the valve clearance a couple of times during the time they own the bike. Most of the time inspect the valve clearance, no need to change until 16,000 km, then adjust. From what I remember, the adjustment won't go out of sync because the parts don't move that much. Something like that........

How is the stock horn? Anybody change the horn?

This scooter has cbs brake. Anybody have bad exp wth the cbs?

stock horn is fine, so far. Then again, mine is new, so don't have problems yet. I also want to change to Nautilus air horn but I'm not sure if there's space for it.

For CBS brakes, was told that when raining, be careful. Might skid or something...... I haven't experience myself because yet to ride through very wet roads.

I think Michelin should be Michelin City Grips, from what I remember on Honda PCX Forum. I also want to change, but I'll wait for the current tires to wear out before changing. I find the stock IRC tires too slippery sometimes.

Bicycle light I think can. Is it flashing blinker light or something? I use it when I'm riding in the dark in Malaysia.

Might be the insurance and COE price difference. Heard it has gone up a little.

Hmm seems like the price increase so much since I bought in December.

Anyway in the manual it states to use 30 weight engine oil. Anyone of you use otherwise? I'm not so comfortable with 30, might be using 40 instead.

Let me know how the installation goes. I don't think you need them since the stock lights are bright enough

I bought mine in Australia. AUD4,700 altogether. Traded in my previous bike, so I paid less. That means that I also loss out selling my previous bike, but nevermind. I'm enjoying my PCX, especially with the Givi D322St windshield. Much better ride. Better wind blockage, but helmet noise, a bit more :sian:

Dunlops are better than IRC

Yeh!!! Finally got my pcx 150 today. Dun need to take the nerve wrecking bus anymore!!!

Stock tyres are: front-dunlop tt900 f / rear-dunlop tt900 a (haven ride in rain, so dunno if it is good)

I got 3 problems:

1. The seat is super hard to lock, need to slam/press very hard den can lock. Is this normal?

2. The left brake lever has quite a lot of free play and dun feel solid, kind of soft and squashy. Is this normal?

3. The fuel inlet is low... can't get a comfortable posture to pump petrol... after the fill-up, back "sour"

Will be going back to bike shop to ask the mechanic to chk.
