POP one is really good.. which is from italy.yoshi chiong 1 also from thailand.. same with "racing boy" but if u take the same amt of money go msia AGL. i think u can get more things for what u pay in SG. but of cause its the distance and the wait. aiya.. as people always said.. u pay for the quality what. if u want cheap one.. then of cus it will not as good as an expensive one.. thats why some people willing to go for expensive one cause its more durable? get the point?

front sai tao is $48.. the side mirrors is $10.. can get frm ahboy or regina.. juz ride safe lar.. $300 is quite alot.. but compared to mine repair cost.. i guess cannot fight.. haha.. anyway take good care of urself.. sayang ur injuries n they will heal faster.. haha..

some of hkl products are quite expensive. i would rather buy my own parts and fix if it's possible. i think they'll charge quite high workmanship if you buy parts frm elsewhere and bring it to them to fix. but you can try though..

i wanted to rush to the custom before it started to jam laaa.. haha. on the way to jB you see i ride at only 100 - 110km on PIE/BKE..

i agree that the POP one is more durable, i had the old POP kata on my sp. it looks better than the ones HKL has nowadays. but it still broke when i dropped the bike. i got a yoshi after that, used it for a 6mths or so until i sold my sp. ok leh, thou the kata got abit loose in the end, it was still worth my 70bux for it. i kinda feel its pointless getting so expensive a kata like the POP one. unless it is REALLY MADE IN ITALY :lol:

Buy the saitao from LAB but how to install it? Carry it home on ur bike meh? or bring ur own tools there to dismantle the old saitao and install the new one?...

eh i also think that not worth buying the POP one so i went to ah boy to buy the yoshi one at 70 dollars but go HKL they charge me 25 for workmanship. still cheaper than the 140 HKL quoted me for the new footrest. my old HRC one looked much better lah...such a pity i spoilt it. but HKL charged me 150 for new sai tuo inclu paint work so i think i kenna carrot there already.lol. then side mirror and "handle bar the end there" they charge me 30 altogether inclu workmanship. lucky is not i pay or else i eat sh*t already for this month and x'mas.lol (i used this chance to change my kickstart bar at 45 dollars too hahaha)

 

but sibei heng my tinted double bubble windshield never kenna anything. heard from earlier posts that its quite expensive. all together my bike repairs 250. highest amount ever to repair my bike. lol

fnee i see your posts i feel damn down alredy leh. lol

cause i was going damn slow but it was steep downslope plus raining. all the conditions worked against me man! but i guess i can only blame it on my lousy skills cause my tyres still quite new! need to train my "manual ABS system". lol

 

also maybe i can become your disciple then you teach me the art of DIY? actually alot of things quite easy to change yourself but i dun have the tools to do so. side mirror i know is only 10 dollar from ah boy but i lazy to save that 5 dollars to change myself. but when it came to the workmanship for the footrest HKL charged me 25 dollars. that one quite difficult to install but if only i knew how to fix it in myself.... MASTER FNEE PLS TAKE ME AS YOUR PUPIL !

I dont shoot people. I dont want to offend people either. But after thinking properly like what u asked, i feel a teeny bit uncomfy.

Diff bikes serve diff purposes. Spark is slow?

Did u even max it in SG in e first place?

Do u play pickup? Do u know a kup can beat most bikes for pickup for e first 20m?

Can u travel through a jam faster than a kup?

Can u dont utilise e brakes at all for e corners on e expressways n yet travel through it at full throttle?

If any one of e ans to any of e stupid questions posted above is a "No", it shows that u have not yet max out e ability of a Spark. It certainly shows that it is u who is found wanting n not e bike.

Pls stop any lacer mentality. If u r unhappy after reading my post n want to challenge me to any laces, i m really sorry but i have nothing to prove.

firstly you mustn't be afraid to get your hands dirty. ask guoren, he saw me making my own premix bottle holder ytd. hands all black.. then last saturday while ah pin was servicing my bike.. i was making my own license plate holder. kept on filing, drilling and filing till i got the dimensions right. hands all dirty as well..

 

secondly, you must be interested in doing it la of course. haha.. just take a good look at how the racing kata works.. where are the mounting point etc.. while i was installing my angel eye i was anyhow connecting wires to test out which are the correct connections for hazard lights. end up i blew the signal light fuse.

 

i'll take a photo of my bracket soon.. oh ya and bubble costs less than $20 only.. think 12 or 15 at ah boy. ours is not those puig, mra kind which costs $60. haha..

 

bert: think he saw the talaria racing (the small cursive words below POP) on the POP kata which sounds italian and make him think it's italian
