eh what talking you. what thank me for feeling you. that sounds wrong man ! LOL i am straight one hor for the record. hahahaha

anyway next time just be more careful lah. i may be a noob rider but i am a veteran in accidents. now i so scared that on rainy days i only ride on left lane and keep like 1287651285618461341 car distance when i ride. esp on slope and with pillion, your braking distance will almost be triple than on dry roads.

anyone got second hand carb ? can help me ask your motordiams when u all go down ? thanks.

Hello guys.

Yesterday my SP broke down on me while in the middle of orchard road

Was pillioning my fren and squeezing thru the jam slowly.

Battery was down as i switch the ignition on and off and there's still no reaction.Lucky farhan managed to pick up the call, he told me he has a similar experience too.Just had to let it recharge for awhile and whack the rpm later to recharge. :cheeky:

Question is...Is it time to change a new battery? It's the first time happening since my ownership of 10months.

if u managed to restart the bike after letting it recharge then most prob its juz the battery. juz get 1 and can fix urself. very easy installation. Usually batteries last roughly 1 year. go for a dry cell one.

oh so u passed and congrats!

slowly u will learn, one by one, sometimes expensive lessons but u will finally learn to master the sp (including DIY experts fnee, xeonvenom, etc, DIY disciples congx, spchoo, etc).

welcome to the path on creating a zhan che and becoming a lacer.

1) general respray can go yeow motor in amk, but my suggestion is that sp all black + stickers is NOT as nice as RVF all black + stickers. fyi, the stock rim color is orange.

2) if you are thinking along the lines of pop/yoshi, then let others advise you. i'd rather use a specially moulded bracket to raise the stock kata than installing a pop/yoshi.

3) that's called a balancer, only RM15 w installation at JB.

welcome also to spending $$$ on your sp!

xianping: if u are thinking about footrest... u can get from Lim Ah Boy for 70 dollars + 5 dollars installation. or u can ask me to try on yours then i can use it as experiment. but i take no responsibility for any damage. dun need too expensive one cause honestly when u first get your bike... high chance you will drop your bike somehow one. TOUCH WOOD. but that seems like the case.

anyway flykite has answered all your other questions with ease and wisdom so listen to him cannot go wrong one ! lol ride safe dude.

hey flykite! thx for ur advise! =)

1) my initial thinking is spraying my bike black(to match my gold rim n i like the black n gold combination)... n put gold honda word sticker at the side of the fuel tank loh... issit abit too plain ar...? if it is... den maybe i'll put some designs on the fairing bah... any suggestions...? then again... ard much does it cost @ yeow motor...? =) as for the rim... my rim(not stock rim bah...) colour now is gold... but its fading... so i'm thinking of restoring back the gold colour by spraying loh... issit possible...?

2) wads the diff between pop/yoshi footrest n those specially moulded ones...? n wad is the meaning of raising stock kata ar...? paiseh ar... i sibei noob de... lolx... den wad bout the windscreen...? ah boy got sell or go JB better..?

3) ohhh... balancer ar... i mixed it up wif the stabiliser liew... hehehe... paiseh... ermmm JB ar... i can go there lar... but i dun know any shop leh... anybody going there to zhng their bikes can bring me along too...? hahaha...

thx again!

HA ! you have fallen into my trap.... now i will con u into letting me play with your bike. lol. no lah just buy the footrest at Ah Boy and ask them to install lor. the most u should pay is 75 for everything.

yoshi and POP almost the same one lah. no difference. if u are making your bike all black with gold rims (much like most super4s) just buy the yoshi bronze colour one. should look quite nice.

btw pls dun try to spray paint yourself no matter what pple tell u. u will end up with a matt black colour which is not very nice. cheers dude

i didn't bother with POP or yoshi footrest cos my old bracket did exactly the same job, so i can't comment on it. but imho it feels exactly the same whether you're stepping on a pop footrest or yoshi footrest or stock footrest or no footrest. it's your preference.

the saitao bubble... well, several pages back there was a discussion on the bubble windshield and the double bubble windshield. it's kinda poser on the sp but it's your own preference again. it's more cosmetic than useful. ah boy got sell, i think 30 a piece or so, cheap cheap.

oh, and i forgot to say, i think 99% of pple here have never seen such a bracket, so i put up an old pic (from my old sp) here to show you roughly how it looks like. it can come in different shapes and sizes, but they essentially serve the same function. and if u can't tell the difference, just compare it with a yoshi/pop footrest and a stock one and u can see liao. good luck.
