Public transport is not even an option, no matter what the transport minister says. And for all that trouble, public transport is nowhere near cheap either!

 

I applaud this statement in bold especially. I worked in the public transport industry vehicle workshop for 2 years. Given the kind of stats, the bus companies are already struggling to meet the current demand. And frankly speaking, many people at the top have no idea how the guys on the ground struggle to stagger towards the benchmark of performance. Yet there are still propagandas from the government encouraging the mass public to take public transport. What a joke. And in the first place, are those people who're telling the mass public to forsake their own personal transports committed to taking public transport permanently? If they aren't, that speaks much of their standards. :lol:

 

Go green with public transport? I'd rather go green with hybrid systems or CNG.

 

I don't need someone on the top telling me to take public transport when I want a car/bike.

My friend overhead a conversation from a p-plate SP rider just now at the CP opp Cineleisure..

 

When my group reach the CP, the rider saw us and proclaim to his friends "Wah, here comes a group of Tua Gus..If i see them OTR, i sure lap them"

 

My question to this rider if he belongs to this forum is,

 

Are you a street racer???

 

Seriously i think you need to read up more on bikes, change your mentality and be more humble etc etc??

 

Fyi, we dont race on the streets, ptless to do so anyway, by all means if you happen to see us on the road, do smoke/lap us cos you know what, if i see you at the next traffic light, i wont blow nor race with you..Instead i'll smile at you and laugh thereafter. :smile:

 

And fyi once again, i was an ex SP rider when i got my 2B lic back then..And we seriously dont boast nor proclaim to my friends with this kind of inlogical sentence..

 

If the rider mention above does read this, i seriously urge you to re-think about your riding mentality and knowledge.

LOL... this bugger almost had me drop my bike when i heard this joke of the year! This kind of talk makes me wanna downgrade back to SP again... Should have gone to to bugger and told him i wanna trade my bike with him cos his SP can outrun class 2 bikes... even modded ones like ours!

New to this, therefore hope experienced SP rider could help me. I'm a great fan of SP ever since i started learning bike la..haha.. hope to get a SP asap after i pass my TP in this 22nd May.. But then i'm very noob to this esp come to buying or choosing SP to buy.. I heard that engine is the most impt thing when u want to purchase a bike, so hopefully you all could give me some pointers or advice in this areas so that i could hav more understanding of SP and buyin of bike. cos gettin a bike urgently after i pass therefore hope u all can help me =)

 

Anybody can kindly tell me what's the most impt thing to look at when u want to buy a bike? i rather spend abit more to buy a good condition SP that wont be give prob than buyin 1 that i hav to spend more money to maintain it.

well....its hard to say..u wanna buy a sp in good condition...cos no matter wad bike is it...whether its a sp or even a wave...as long as u get a 2nd bike...its going to give u problems in the beginning when u take over....every rider has a different riding style and the bike will take time to adapt to your style...the 1st couple of months u will find urself always spending money to fix things at the bike shop...after that the bike should be ok liao...

Sad to say i also rode a SP before and i dun understand why such a rider would want to boast infront of his friends about that. I would like to see that guys face when actually my frend whom was just standing behind him whisper to him those group of tua gus are my frends and they all go track and are frendly riders.

 

Lucky i got some of my frends younger brothers do not have the mentality of that rider.
