Dry clutch performance???

 

Unheard of additonal performance on bikes running dry clutches..Even 1098 in SBK is running wet slump clutches...

 

Why does a 848 handles better than a 1098??

 

The same reason why 600/750 handles better than a 1l??? :lol:

wah lao eh but the $$$ on installment itself can buy car le leh! maybe my passion for bikes not as strong as to buy a ducati.. or should i just say i'm poor.

 

I wasnt so interested in Ducs last time round which explains why both of my class 2 bikes are japanese brands..

 

After i change to a 750 from a 600, i told myself..If i were to change bike again and decided nt to drive, i would get myself a Duc with 848 being the more preferred choice...

 

All this are just plans, will take into serious consideration after i grad next year..

If u live in Jurong West, I think u can try change ur new plate at Hua Chin(if i not spell wrongly) in Bukit Batok industry area. Near Vicom inspection centre. Most expensive yellow plate only cost SGD15 i think. Cuz last time i changed mine there. But mine is sticker type. SGD12. I live in Jurong East.

Yellow plate as compared to the conventional black background plate is of reflective material thus the slightly higher price..

 

But do take note that there's a rule set by LTA to follow on no plate colours..

 

Front = Black BG + White Letterings & Rear = Black BG + white Letterings

 

or

 

Front = White BG(Reflective Material) + Black Letterings & Rear = Yellow BG(Reflective Material) + Black Letterings...

i'm looking at the shoei x-11 or the multitec. looks good but then their sizing dunno accurate not leh. i measure my head is XXL 63-64 but then according to my mfizz evo is feels a little tight as compared to my sumo lol...

Other types of plate they just put some strong glue to paste ur number on it only i think. But the yellow plate, the number r permanently on plate. I dunno how to explain to u. But i think yellow plate is worth cuz the number will never drop off. Check it out there n u will noe wat is de different. They will show u. There r few type. one of it is a black plate and number is also paste inside the plate n it is visible but non-touchable. cuz number is inside the plate like a monitor. English standard not so good, cant explain to you clearly. So the better way is go there n have a look. cheers..

My PGM encountered a foul plug nearby my house(Bukit Batok area),that time they were the only shop around..So i rode over and told them i need 2 NGK plugs..Boss quote me $8 a piece(reasonable), ask them to fix..Boss took a look at my bike then say very difficult to change, ask his mechanic to see then mechanic also say same thing and quote me $20-25 for labour..

 

I straight away shoot back, very hard??I only need 10mins without removing any farring to replace both..

 

Brought the plugs and went home to DIY..Other shops just charge me for the plugs and change for me without giving additional labour fees..

my friend recently bought a 999 from Minerva too. not too sure how much he downpayment but monthly is $500. FBA plated.

 

don't flame me ah but i personally feel that i won't go for a ducati. not that i dislike it infact i love it but then the cost is really too high for a bike. can get a car already man! unless i'm filthy rich i'll never buy one... so ducati will definitely be a dream bike of mine.

 

but nevertheless, i still love class 2. R1 by 2013.

Go according to your feeling la... try it on, if it fits, it fits, if not try another size, anyway.. buying a new helmet will never be as comfortable as your old one because the cushion all not seasoned yet...

this is a example of passion > sacrifices lol.. no doubt everyone knows pgm is a bit more expensive to maintain.. JJ's dream to be andy lau nv ceased.

 

I believe riding a jap 1L and a ducati not much diff bah..every month pay installment also around the same just taht who pay longer period

maybe R1 finish in 3 years ducati finish in 5 to 6 nia.. for the case of those big bikes dun think will like 2b bikes ride a while only sell bah..

 

U might say with taht amonut of money can buy car.. but can u get a car that give u the same attention and woah that riding a ducati can give u? lol
