yo guys i nid some advice. recently my bike is having this problem. whenever i leave the bike for awhile (few hrs) it starts with no problem but the engine might die after some idiling as it will get weaker (like no fuel go in like that). then when i wack the bike (rpm above 7.5k) it will sounds like its stuck (like rc valve cant open). but after like 5 seconds of wacking then it seems everything clears then after that the bike runs smoothly and only after this happens then my engine wont suddenly die like i mentioned above.

 

i have to do this everytime or the engine might die when i stop at traffic lights. nothing to do with the temp cos there was once i ride quite long but din wack the rpm above 7.5k and the engine died on me at the lights.

 

can someone explain this?

Just got ur bike? Get a mech to check the following ...

 

- Spark Plug (is it fouled?)

- RC Valve (dirty and stuck?)

- Idle RPM (too low?)

 

A full service would probably solve the problem, u should get one done if u had not done it in the last 4-6 months or so

the thing is i just did a full top service a month back. but in between i left for holiday for 17 days. idle speed is ok cos after i wack it its ok. spark plug aso juz changed during the service. but i tot even if rc valve dirty and stuck y does it affect the normal operation of the bike? the problem now is that if i dnt unstuck the rc valve, the bike cant even idle properly
