guys, serious question to ask..

 

my fren accidently drop my SP bike lightly, den suddenly my bike can't start.. when i try kick start a few times den can start liao..

 

but all the lights got problem..

 

no signal light, no back light, no neutral light, no horn.. only the front light is okay.. how much does it cost normally to fix this kind of things?

 

electrical problem usually doesnt cost much.

open up your bike, check th contact points for th wiring, make sure thy'r all secured..

slight drop / dropping impact might loosen th old wires causing th lights to mulfunction.

 

whr as th unable-to-start issue, it cld be carb overflow, zero petrol for that short period of time whn you cannot-start.

whn you can start, thats whn th 'new petrol' flows in & th carb register th 'new petrol' & it can be started again.

 

just my 2cents. (:

would it be very expensive to fix problems like this? i have no problem starting the bike, only the lights dont work...

dying coe 3 -4 months i believe noone wld pay more thn 600 for it..

considering thy've to renew coe which wld cost em like 800 - 1k.

totaling out to 1.6k or so..

how much are u willing to offer? Just to let u know my sp is not one of those highly maintain kind. I only maintain it to a ridable condition and it has serve me well for this 2 years and generally quite problem free as it is a stock bike and just done a overhaul within this year.

because my rpm needle is not working, so need to change the whole cable right?

get from bikeshop would be a wiser choice, thy'd know which fuse exactly to use for your bike.

& through experience, my friend went to hardware shop & couldnt find th exact one for his bike, ended up buying nthg..

 

rpm needle not working, could be loose cable contact point or bent cable..

check th cable befor replacing.. (:
