Why I first time pump full my fuel (Shell 95) around 160km then fuel bar going to hit empty red bar. Then I pump once more full, now around 140 at half nia, just pass below half meter.

 

This have to compare how u ride on ur 160 per full tank and ur 140 full tank maybe u wack a bit too much on ur 140 full tank or maybe u need to service ur bike Liao

Hi guys, whats the best brake pads to use when its raining? My current one is completely useless in rain. Takes 5 secs to react before brakes actually stop the bike so its very dangerous. Anyone exp. similar braking in the rain?

Hmm it ranges from less than 1k to maybe 1.5k above depending on the plate and COE left..

Your expense per month pretty much depends on how much you travel, and how often you service it too.. haha

im using newfren brake pads, very good in wet weather... but aside from better brake pads, just ride slower and be more alert when riding in the rain... even the best brake pads, brake pump and brake hoses wont save you if your not focusing on the road and riding carelessly...

new stock SP does not exist in singapore i think....

 

i would suggest against looking one without COE renewed because reselling later will be very hard to do and COE pricing is going to keep increasing... W/O COE renewal should be less than 1k if not bargain it down to below that... those with COE renewed are 2k and above....

 

most important thing when viewing a bike is to bring an experienced friend down to view and test the bike for you... do your best to find faults and problems with the bike so you have things to help u bargain down the price...

 

provided your "new" bike doesnt come with loads of engine problems, maintenance should be affordable... fuel consumption is not spectacular since its a 2 stroke (200-240km full tank before reserve) and 2t can be topped up every 2-3 weeks...

 

i think the most expensive part of owning a used bike is the repairs when you first buy the bike... spent loads of $$ on my bike in the first month due to repairs, overhaul and parts being replaced... then spent some more to fine tune it to my preference...

I see.. wow.. well, would you recommend buying a used bike then? I am still contemplating on whether it would be better to avoid the many faults you will find with used bikes or would it be better to just get another bike? I really adore the SP very much though..

waitforme, i agreed with your sentence, but dont just give SP death penalty leh... even thou old, kana wack, never do proper maintain, at least if you willing to spend time and abit money, you'll love SP just a matter of time.

 

and for SP, you even try use your SP to thailand where alot of us never try before. so i think SP dont worth death penalty ba...

 

and for 2 cents, at least SP outlooks better than most of the bikes exclude aprilla and some new 4 strokes bikes.
