the meter...got pple do before at ah gua lane in JB

but i suppose u need to leave the bike or the meter there for more than a day lor

usually they print out the sticker and overlap onto the original meter readings

if u know how to DIY (i.e take out meter, etc) lagi better still

i went JB to print the stickers for my KRR meter

took me quite awhile to get the stickers onto my meter...cause need to remove the needles in the meter etc...and the reading of the speedo, RPM meter etc will misalign...so need to adjust back :cheeky:

beware of ur meters fogging after rainy days esp

About Warming Up: I notice always parked for 3+ hours, start liao got 2T smoke so I always start bike then have a cigarette before moving off, my friend told me you can actually hear the difference between cold engine and warmed up engine... I don't know leh...

wah...how the hell does a cold and warm engine sound?

cold = more sluggish and like want to die off like that?

warm = normal healthy and running?

About the Valve: I HEARD la, 2 valve 3.5k RPM then 7k RPM, RR got 1 valve 3.5k RPM, but its all hear-say

About the idle: Mine doesn't stall @ 800~1000 RPM so I guess its good lo.. save petrol haha

About the Fuel tank: One of my friend have a habit of turning off the tank, engine and headlight off when parked and switch those on when moving off. (Headlight after warming up)

i still stand behind mc28's words.... sp only got 1 valve... and its only gonna open when ur rpm hits 6.7 to 7K... bikes varies so i can't say it only opens at 7K

how does removing the meter covers etc and replacing them back w/ an extra piece of sticker on the meter readings affect fogging?

in the meter there's no rubber seal or glue etc that needs to be removed in the process

for my bike, the meters do fog after rain, and i am suspecting it has something to do with a leakage somewhere. I tried finding online on whether the speedos are vacuumed but sadly there was none.

hi avita.. da horn ar... i m interested but quite broke leh.. eh go ware collect?

change your gear oil when u feel the gears are stiff and do not shift easy. you could observe the color of the gear oil at a small sight glass near your kickstart crank. if it's really dark (like chocolate), you had best change it asap. on normal conditions, it should be a slightly dark gold and filled to half the height of the sight glass.

you could diy youself but without a tool to loosen the oil plug at the left and a funnel, better to get it done at the shop. costs about $20 inclusive of the 4t.

i see my hor, the colour clear and transparent gold like that. then i shake shake my bike but the liquid there nv move one. is it the small little glass thing that is under the kick starter

..............................................................................................................

Or can i rev when in neutral ?

Cheers

actually, the thing should stay up even when u release it..

btw,it's a good habit if u off ur fuel switch when u park overnight..save u from some itchy hands who decides to turn ur throttle and jam up ur carbs..it was a habit which i did from 2b till end of 2a..

i thought i read ard saying that if u off the fuel switch, its not that good cause don know wat no oil will stay in the don know wat?

is it better to off? cause i seldom off. only cut-off switch i use.

don :gun: , hehe i noob must learn :)
