yes ur correct as some bike shops do employ m'sian as mech..

major diff is indeed the currency but some may argue tat they dun use ori parts over there. but isn't it the same for a bike shop here just to screw u which i knw is also not rare.

 

in my opnion its all up to ur preference of bikeshop n mech if in doubt try to bring a friend whom may knw trusted bikeshop n mech over there.

krr in malaysia is very common.

sp on the other hand is kinda rare.

 

 

down engine is smth very major and u should do it at a place where sp is more common.

however if u still decide to do it at jb,

you have all our blessings from this SP page.

 

fyi, i only do minor servicing at malaysia, eg eo,sp, brake pads etc.

 

For me personally, ive been hanging around that JB workshop for quite some years now.

Quiet a handful of friends went there to get things fixed Majorly or Minorly.

So somehow i trust the mech and also we know each other.

Bro Homer, You make me feel like it's unnecessary to drop engine leh... no need to do also can meh ?? Hmmmmm.... elaborate abit can ?

But i feel after drop engine than i would be much more confident to ride it

now like 50-50 cos scared if whack hard abit onli can cause problem that may result in accident.. * blow * far far away...

So drop engine is a must for me.

I understand that Major stuffs are preferred to do in SG

whereas minor stuff can go JB do BUT i trust the JB mech and my friends who are regular cust to that workshop will follow me so..

But what is the difference between a normal CDI and a racing CDI in terms of the performance wise of the bike? Please enlighten me
