HI ALL! just passed tp today. is sp a difficult bike to maintain for someone who know nuts about bike? looking at sp and x1r.. my friends who ride all ask me take x1r cause they say sp is old and problematic. but kup kia no fuel tank to grip!! sian. or any other bikes to intro? looking at second hand bike cause i plan to "experiment" how to take care of bike. no use paying so much than in the end i dont know how to take care and spoil it.

haha! I want to get a sp.. but well.. my friends who are going to help me choose my first ride. they both insist i take x1r I like to grip fuel tank and i'm only interested in sport and motards. kup isn't really what im looking at. and definitely next year super 4

go for what u're interested in.. if nt, i bet u that u gonna get bored after ride for few months lor..

if wanna get sp, get from forumer.. coz if go shop, ur chance of getting good bike, 50/50 lor..

agreed... hard to find decent condition sp in motordiam.... i feel most important is to ride what you want to ride.... true: 4 stroke kup is easier to maintain and will give you better fuel economy, but will you enjoy it? some people love kups, some ppl done, all up to individual...

 

sp may or may not be a problematic bike, depends on the previous owner.... due to the age of the bike, wear and tear + replacement of parts is to be expected (10 years old already), so hopefully the previous owner has taken it upon himself to fix the bike up so you get to enjoy his hard work and $$... if you choose SP, just make sure u have $$ standby in case you need to service and repair...
