What does it take to have my suspension jacked up? I have a friend who has an Ohlins rear shocked swapped out with his original one. What other means are there and at what cost?

suspension jacked up usually need to have special brackets that will hold the current suspension either at the top or at the end its not a easy job unless u can find the brackets which i think thank no ppl sell them u can only ask shops to make 1 for you at ur desired length..why u need to change the shock bro?u too tall ? this is what i know lah

my 2 cents

Well, i'd like my WR2 jacked up, I have a thing for tails in the sky you see. Would the stock one suffice? Is the height adjustable on it? I'm not very tall. Just average I think, about 1.78 - 1.8 m. Haven't checked for a long time.

hello guys! im waiting for my tp test now (17th july) and i have been eyeing the wr2. however, i would like to first get to know all the downsides to this bike so i wont regret buying.. dont get me wrong i am not here to flame wr2. just need to know what issues i will come across if i buy this. for example, whats the avg fc? or any other problems that u guys face! i also heard that wr riders get black spots on clothings due to 2t more than other 2t bikes. is this true?

thanks guys!!!

oh yea and a couple more questions.

if i get a friend who rides bikes but never rode scrambler before when i go and view a 2nd hand wr, will he know enough to tell me if the bike is in good condition or not?

haha 2nd question. is it possible to tune every bike to make the fc 20-25km/l? or is it different bike definately different fc and no matter what u do cant acheive this if the bikes fc already lousy? if 20km/l like that i still can afford to ride wr2. if like 15-17 lidat ah.. think canot.. pocket burn big hole haha. cos i every day gotta travel ard 60km

hi bro! hmmm.. basically as long as ur ride is in good condition and everything checked and inspected thoroughly, there shouldn't be any downsides.. perhaps one would be that the top speed is very low? cos its a scram not a sportsbike so i guess thats not really a downside anyway.. hmm.. for fc.. the average would be around 18-20km/l depending on ur condition of the bike.. some mod to be damn fast, but drink petrol like water.. some mod to conserve petrol, so performance not as fast but economical.. so it depends on the bike..

for me i feel that the only difference with other bike is that scrams vibrate alot and also wr has no battery.. thats about it.. so ur friend would be able to tell if it is in good con..

as for tuning i am sure there are many ways to make ur petrol last, but it comes at a compromise as well.. cant have the best of both worlds :)

Nothing goes too fast, only out of control

from what you've mentioned above, perhaps you should consider a honda instead? they're a little easier on gas and maintainence won't be such a *****. maybe get one of those new xr2s?

yea i was considering xr2 ah.. but i would like the ride to be higher since im 1.84cm in height.. =(

used to love being tall till now.. haha! cos most bikes are not designed for tall people..
