Depend on your interest... Advantage for Xbox is you can play Kinect and console.. So it's like 2 in 1...

Yup..Kinect is a game involve movement.. If u r into shooting games, there r also console (controller) where u can play from..

PS3! If u buy xbox, still need to pay for the online subscription, if ps3 no need to pay anymore just login to ur PSN acc and can start playing online for free

Xbox has loads of aftermarket games.

i have xbox.

 

typical blockbuster titles like Call of Duty and Battlefield, or Grand Theft Auto and Need for Speed, is produced for both Xbox and PS3.

 

If you are into Japanese RPG like Final Fantasy, best to get PS3. Although the past few titles were released for X360, each title was always a question mark for X360 release and when they do announce, its more of a relief rather than a confirmation.

 

I do not know about the online experience. its true X360 must pay (about $15 monthly, cheaper if you buy in 3 or 12 months blocks). But back when i bought X360 4 years ago, so many complaints about PS network, donno if all resolved.

 

If you're into 'party' games, X360 with Kinect is for you. basically you stand in front of tv, bend body left to move your game character left, jump for character to jump, etc. or the classic dance revolution. but seriously, this is good fun only when friends or relatives come over, lone gaming you wont bother. good fun as a party nonetheless.

 

So why get X360 instead of PS3? Coz in recent years i feel the americans have begun leading the games industry ahead of japan, and the PS3 is getting left behind. And the leading console always gets the better games and gaming experience development. Look at Nintendo and Sega.....

once a console is modified, it is banned from the network. you can no longer play games online, or buy game add-ons online, heck you wont even receive important updates and patches. and there is hardly and local market for pirated games, not like ten years ago. unless you confirm will not play online (better be sure) and travel to jb regularly for supply, then its not worth doing.

Will be at least a few more months. Actually the hardcore gamers I know own both ps3 and xbox, because some games are tied to either console only.
