Hi guys... want to ask for recommendation from u guys..which windshield is the best in terms of outlook,shape and style?quite noob abt windshield

 

where to get?I saw this puig windshield and its nice..how abt givi?anyone got picture of them?can post it here?thanx guys!!

Hi bro, I am thinking of getting Givi Windshield A770 but where to get at a reasonable price?

 

As for belly pan, I think got 2 type, even three if count Power Bronze. One long type and the other a normal one. Power Bronze I think costs over $100 but dunno exact figure. As for the other 2, Motoworld selling at $80 for the long one and $50 for the short one. If there is no change of price that is.

givi windscreen have a very good worksmanship. the edges is smooth n the rear of the screen is beautiful oso. if u got go LAB n take a look, though cheap, but quality wise, lose out. i rather spend more money to get quality stuff.

 

as for windscreen useful anot, some install it as cosmetic n some find it useful. it can block off wind instead of wind blowing against u. sometimes u can hide behind the windscreen if u wanna clear meter. n windscreen indirectly protects ur speedo from direct contact to the ground.

imagine ridin to wrk wearing shirt n n pants, nt wearing any jacket...when the headwind hits u, ti feels likethe buttons of the shirt is tearing apart, with a windshield, wind is deflected to rear n side, lessenin the impact of headwind.....

 

i nvr rode up north w/o my windshield before n so can't coomment on tt. but i love my windshield, bn with me for 4 years le......

anyone tried the okado brand? lab selling at 80bucks.

does it really defllect wind off? or just cosmetics?

 

if really can deflect maybe keen to install. cos on some windy days, i felt like being slapped left and right by the wind.

80 so exp i bought it for 60.... high speed will vibrate.....

I've seen the model. Quite nice but lacks the durability. Looks wise seems the same as Givi A750. Comparing with Givi, Givi is more solid for both the base and the screen. Price wise also double.

 

Last time asked, LAB wants $150 for the Givi A750. Now dunno how much already. For me, this model the screen is too high. I'd prefer the Givi A770. Anyone knows where to get and how much? The lower the price the better. I know the A770 is around $200 +/-.

thanks for the replies guys! maybe i'll go check out windshields at chiap lee soon. crosswinds can get really annoying sometimes.. but then, too large a windshield would probably also ruin the aesthetic appeal of the bike (sorry no offence!)

 

maybe i'll go look for something in a medium size.

seancxm: Guess e only Givi windshield which can block most wind is A650, e one Civil Defence's Spec3s r using. Do tk note tat if u get a medium-sized windshield, u'll b directing more wind towards ur helmet, which will result in a louder wind sound while riding. Cheers!

for longer distance and higher speed you will appreciate having a windshield.

Regina did qoute me Okado brand with all 3 (Windshield + Undertray + hugger) = $225. The windshield design is the same as Puig one. But can see that Puig is more solid than Okado. Like Sonicgear said, Pay peanuts get monkeys.

 

Maybe going down next week to get the Givi Windshield.

I saw the puig windshield at regina..nice though but still thinking of getting givi A770...i love e puig windshield coz it is smaller a bit..the height is not that high..

Ya true. I did hold on to the Puig windshield before. Very solid and somemore Carbon fiber. If not wrong I was quoted $170 for normal one and $180 for carbon fiber. But Givi A770 bigger so have more protection hehehe.

 

Once integrated with Hand Guard, confirm Fierce. heeheh

should say its troublesome... but then again, how often do u remove the windshield???
