I know... I was also surprised to see my cashcard being deducted 0.65 as I was exiting out of Bain Street Carpark just now.

okay. not all hdb car parks have free sunday parkings

 

actually, in most parts of the rest of the world, motorbikes get free parking 24/7/365. :p

 

here, even sunday also no "off" day, really world-class #1, hahaha......

 

btw, forgive me, since as a typical singaporean whose favourite past-time is "complain king"...

 

we do not own our bikes or cars, we only "lease" them for 10 years or even less if resale one.

 

MOST of us (around 80%) do not own our flat, we only "lease" it for 49 years, no that is not a typo error, it is 49 NOT 99...

I even more surprised I got fined a few years back for not putting coupon on a Sunday.

 

Then go appeal, the ultimate answer the carpark now changed to no parking on Sunday.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

i lost my long term job / career to FTs, the SME company had more than 80% of its staff being either FTs or 'new citizens'. the 3 out of the 4 department head managers are 'new citizens'. our wages are permanently suppressed & kept low by FTs. most of the local staff are no longer around, with the exception of a few old timers that are the boss long time friends or were around at the start of the co. the new citizen managers all hire FTs. many local jobs were lost to FTs. the FTs were the ones to tell me to f off, not i tell them to f off, funny isn't it? 40+, o levels, what chance have i got? why never upgrade, you ask? no diff, they can get young FT grad at 70% of my pay. besides, upgrade also won't pay rise / promote or even keep my job. the upgrade myth applies only to civil service. so i never blame myself.

 

so everyone expects me to be a bitter anti FT hater? WRONG! i don't hate FTs. it is not their fault that they were born foreigners. do i blame my boss for being uninnovative, & lazily taking the easy option of hiring cheap FTs to replace us locals? NO, i don't blame him cause he is a businessman who only wants to make easy money. the garmen even wants him to do so!

 

do i blame the pap garmen? NO, cause their jobs are to be yes men & keep their cronies happy. i have seen a lot of real world dirty dealings that will never make the papers or national press. numb to it all. everyman for himself. even if you are a highly paid miw or RC etc...why they worry, it is all 'legal' & their jobs are safe anyway, will still get voted in.

 

so whose fault? it is the silly & naive majority, ie. the 75% in 2001, the slavish fools of 60% in 2011. period. i won't say more cause it will be moderated anyway

Actually its supposed to be per coupon per location but nobody gives a flying fudge.
