As per caption, Im sure most or all of us faces this problems when it comes to riding in wet and the visor fogs and cant see a thing.

Have to either try to lift the visor(FF) slightly ajar to let some cool air in but at the same time the rain too.

For open face visors, will have to struggle to use the fingers to swipe the fog off but only for a certain time before the fog takes over again.

Of cos, there's those special solutions catered to tackle this?

Well, let's just say not everyone would remember to to dismantle the visor, cleans the whole lot + coating it...

Found this innovative creations and have personally tried it, it works!

One of the reknown reviews:

http://www.webbikeworld.com/anti-fog-visor/

Ok, not gona promote its pros, truth to be said, cons are that, as of now, certain helmets are not usable especially open face and till date only 3 open face helmet is available(soon) to use the Pinlock inserts and there are reviews that users feedback there are halo or reflection/distortion visions at night.

So far for me, no problems and can accept the negligible slight distortion at night, other than that, I'm glad I have this wonderful accessory.

I've tried Arai TX 2 & 3 with Dark Insert & Shoei Multi-Tech with Clear Insert.

No problem when wearing shades too.

Any other users here? Or any other constructive comments please share.

Cheers!

yup. used it on my R-PHA10 as well as my current Nolan N104. best accessory yet! cold or wet, still clear vision. no need to lift visor to defog (which will let water in as well.. zzzz...)

slight distortion is a trade-off. but nothing that really compromises safety.

Where did you guys get this in sg? or did you order online?

For most models are supplied altogether when bought from shop.

But not all models are supplied and also there's other variants of the insert not readily available locally.

I am talking to Pinlock to see if I can bring in other variants to offer to the local market here.

Will be doing some test on my open face helmets frm the DIY kit I got also to see if it can work..

Fingers crossed..

Hi, so far I only gt the Arai TX insert frm CL @ $45.

They(CL) only hv clear & dark tint to my knowledge, bt I know there's other coloured inserts by Pinlock.

for Shoei's, it came with the lid, gt it frm a close fren recently.

But bear in mind, its not 100% cos I'd to trial & error when I 1st use it.. (maybe I newbie.. )

& I destroyed the dark tint as a result.. http://www.yamahasupertenere.com/Smileys/DarkB/smiley025.gif

Both my HJC and Nolan came with the helmet. Its not cheap to get it separately. Btw, have anyone tried other brands like fogcity ones? Heard motoworld have. Its universal type where it is stuck permanently with adhesive to the inside. Might try one on my other HJC FF.

For those visor without pinlock pin, can try the universal pinlock kit.

http://www.pinlockshop.co.uk/category-pl/pinlock-diy-kits

I have that, but do take note that there are certain requirements for it to be potentially useful.

Also, it(the insert) is relatively shorter than helmet visor specific inserts..

Gona try it out on my Ram3 UpTown soon..

*Edit:

No news frm supplier after CNY.

Maybe I got nothing to let them trust me to bring in.

Owell...
