A lot of factors affecting.. Tyre pressure --> Insufficient will lead to lotsa drag and thus consume more petrol..

Wind Resistance --> After I put my sai tao then i notice my petrol consumption oso went lower.. but only a bit like 0.75km per litre more..

Rider's weight --> the more heavy the more power needed thus need more petrol..

Got some more lah.. but forgot some liao..

maybe just minor tuning on your carb will do....most impt to see what size of the pin jet....so far, my PB1 has been using factory setting and mileage covered for full tank is ard 380km :goodluck:

I've got some comments for grounding.

it's true that after grounding, you feel the difference when u ride.

The response is nice to hear, should i say more garing (in malay).

after some time, i noticed that the 'garing' feeling no longer there.

It could be that I'm used to the feeling such that you can no longer feel the difference.

But what I'm quite sad now is, I found out that my fuel consumption has gone up.

Which means before grounding, i could go 350km with Mobil F1 before hitting reserve.

Now with also Mobil F1, I could hardly reach 330km before reserve. 310km will start blinking. My next servicing, what I wanted to do is to take off the grounding wires and I want to see if I can clock 350km again. Just sharing my findings to you all. Decide wisely.

yeah, maybe due to other reasons then grounding... maybe you take out the ground and see the effect first.. then share with us again...

i also did my grounding recently... FC slight increase a bit... from 310 to about 320km... not conclusive cos i also changed to K&N air filter.. so more than one factor...

hmm... perhaps its good to let all know. the plus and minus of grounding.

anyway somehow i noticed that using jb v-power mileage like significantly reduced leh..

sg power95 - 370km hit reserve

jb vpower - 330km hit reserve

:giddy: :giddy:

anyone shares the same problem? or perhaps i should try jb's caltex next time.
