My vtec1 was 23-25km per litre... vtec seldom open

 

If vtec always open... Ard 18-20km per litre

cut in RPM meaning at which RPM the vtec will cut in...

diff spec got diff cut in RPM.

Won't la bro, I now riding a spec3 with a 45litre givi box, I think it looks just as nice with or without the box.:lovestruck:

Tail too sharp put box nt nice.... Hmmmm... Quite subjective...

 

vtec1 nt much prob... i changed my rectifier, chargin coil and batt once... I believe its due to wear n tear... So shldnt be any problem... Aniwae, hav riddden it for close to 3 years... didnt giv me much prob...

yah lor... really depends on individual... no money so buy old bikes lor.

so, buy old bike sure scared got prob wat... so must know wat is wat then can buy wat rite? :thumb:

Since u intendin to get a used s4... I'll advise u to set aside spare cash and get prepared... Coz alot of times, its the mehanical and eletrical parts which spoils due to wear n tear or prolonged usage... Aniwae, u'd alreadi saved quite an amt on petrol ridin a s4... :slurp:

yup... to service n get some of the parts changed. for safety purpose. cos ride ver S b4 so get a vtec will oso roughly know wat to do. :cheer:

 

really hope can strike 4D so can buy a spec 3 4 free!! hahaha...

the min octane lv needed for s4 is 91 so u pump 92 is ok but if new bike u shld treat ur bike better mah so pump better ones.

i rode a new vtec3 and is pumping min 95, when i gt xtra $$ than pump 98 lor.

92,95,98 actual no power inprovement... but the addictive added to the petrol make the petrol smooth when combusting.

 

try use sth like iridium plugs. air filter muz be clean~ use thicker EO. i always use 20w50 onli.

once i tried 10w40 but the FC drop slightly. tires pressure very impt oso.

tune ur carbs... all i can say~

This is what i feel that cos my FC to be good... if wrong dun flame me hor :)

paiseh guys, newbie here but interested to upgrade to super 4 once i upgrade... wat is actually open vtec ah? as compare to normal riding??

Oct 06 - ???? -----> S4 Spec I

For my Vtec 1, one litre can tahan 20~21 km without opening Vtec
