reserve = 3 litres

lets say for ver s take jialat2 22km/L

so 3 x 22 = 66kms

Any Bro ride FBB Spec3? What is the FC? Mine only 18km/lit, is that normal?.

Riding Condition as;

1) without open vtec.

2) ride at speed ard 90-100km/h.

3) route 15% city, 85% NS-highway.

4) tyre pressure front 230kpa & rear 250kpa.

5) fuel petronas or shell.

6) my wt. 85kg.

7) simply 45 givi box attached.

8) wind sheild givi 750.

9) 1 yr bike with all stock never modifiy.

10) current milelage 36k.

VTEC models FC is ard 20km/L.. it deems normal to me, but you may wanna do a carb wash and tuning to see if it will improve..

 

mine's a vtec 1 with dynojet and scorpion endcan, haven do tuning..

running at 24km/L..

juz chg new air filter, if no improvement will replace the spark plug bcoz dont know previous owner ever chg or not. Still no improvement will service carb.

Bro i riding FZ spec3, i'm getting ard 23km/litre.. Change gear at 4-5krpm, on vtec sometimes, no box, often pillion. I believe it might be ur tunning.

After replace my air filter FC improve from 18km/lit to 20km/lit. But i chg gear 1st-5th at 6k & 6th at 6.5k, very close to open vtec.

Next will replace spark plug. Do u hav any recommend workshop for tunning?

juz change a new set of chain. and now my vtec1 can reach 340km before reserve.

sorrie if i sound noob, new rider here... riding Vtec 1, the reserve kicks in when the fuel runs continuously from right to left right? at this point how many litres are left in the tank? the electric fuel gauge dont seem very accurate...

Travel at 70km KPE & normal road sometime slow than that,Pie ,Tpe at 80-90 KM..

wow! that's really good! u ride slow and soft is it? my seem to hit only 310km b4 it touches reserve. and u actually tested till the bike die off? how did u do that?

stand by 1 500cc mineral water petrol.

b4 i travel 90/100km/hrs,sometime 120km-140km/hrs , 330-340km reserve,390km die off .

just change new spoket & change & fuel price go up try to save some fuel so don't shoot too much. only morning abit rush than go liter bit fast about 90km.

other time try to be relax ..

my ver S got a period of time i keep travelling at around 100km/h on e'way.. on a 50km/h road i travel at 70.. a 70km/h i travel at 80.. my fc is around 25km/l.. considered good?

riding style?? eerrr a bit blur here..i always ride ard 100 to 110kmp.. n normally my 1st gear to 4th gear my 'rpm' not more den 3000 i oready change my gear..u understand wat im tring to say??

hey guys, will valve clearance help improve FC for my spec 2? As my bike can only hit 260km and it goes to reserve. i posted before and have done other checks but doesn't seem to improve. normally i only have a spare helmet in my box, so it will not affect the FC much rite.

 

And also, how much will valve clearance normally cost at the bike shops? Dun wanna get over charged. Or better to just trade in the bike n get a spec 3? FC for spec3 with yoshi shld be better or same?

okie guys need some help here.. i just got my bike on sat a SPEC 1.. and today my milleage hit 180km already but what's alarming me is the fuel guage left 3 bar~! That means even if the 3 bar clocks 50km each i will only hit 310km... what should i do...???

hmm, i think left 3 bar should be ok ba. i left with 4/5 bar at 180km. i can hit around 350 to 360 before reserve. mine is spec 3. maybe u keep on open vtec? haha. try changing gear earlier around 4 to 5 rpm.

hmmm i damn scared sia cause i did a calculation say on average spec 1 can hit 22-25km/l so the tank before reserve is 15l so i should be hitting 330-350km for a tank before reserve right.. but right now im at 220km so is it possible to hit 110+km before the reserve..? im only left with 2.5 bar.. how ah..?

i'm getting 300 per tank before reserve kicks in.. 2.5 bar? but i know 2 bar can last me quite long.. but dunno how far..
