Mudai,have you tried the YSS suspension?

 

The yss suspension is generally a little better than the stock suspension. Now that the bitubo suspension is widely available to the sym owners, it has a pre load adjustment and provides an excellent stability for riders! Feel free to ask more questions with regards to the SYMGTS200

Hi Mark, pricing for the Bitubo suspension? Only involves rear?

 

hey bandit..yes! the bitubo shocks are $550... it comes along with a local 1 year warranty and it's fully service-able unlike other shocks. Worth every cent meant for long term use. ;)

haha this ride good however the exhaust sound macham cannot hear one , only wad i heard is gpr exhaust only anyone know which aftermarket exhaust can install on it? as well as where to get , i also wan yss haha mudai can update us on the review

Hi all. Got a bit of problem here.

 

Last Thurs I went to Desaru on my 1 month old GTS200. Trip was good although fighting the cross wind was not. :faint: Rode according to speed limit most of the times, pushing the bike to 110 (120 when down hill) sometimes.

 

So the problem is, after come back from my trip then yesterday I go change my engine oil (hit 3000km mark oredy) at Keng Seng (AMK Ind Park 2).

 

Earlier in the morning, my bike was all good and well. Suddenly after change the engine oil I encountered these problems:

- Top speed lost. From hitting 110 easily, I am having trouble to reach 90kmh even.

- Acceleration gone. Before, when i full blast my throttle the rpm can go all the way to 8+ and can feel the bike accelerate and breeze past to overtake. Suddenly now even after full blast throttle, the rpm will go to 7+ at the start then immediately after it will drop to 7- a bit. It stays that way even when I continuously full throttle.

 

Anyone can help me with the problem? any way I can DIY check? Or need to send shop one?:sian:

Maybe you need to check your carb and air filter. I never reach 8 rpm , around 6 already can reach 100 in 10 sec and always below 7.

 

mudai, can reach 100 at around 6? so far i can reach 100 at 7 liddat if got pillion. no pillion then can reach 100 at 7-.

 

any idea hw to chk carb? air filter i knw oredy hw to chk

Yes. Usually on PIE I never exceed 7 on my rpm. Steady 90 to 100. But I'm not with pillion. Try to drive with air filter and see how is your pick up. From the sound of your bike, is there any difference ?

sound a bit more deep. before this sound a bit more garang like dat.

Worth to try by checking your carb for cleaning and tuning.

 

Have you change sparks plug too ?

 

nonchet change. checked air filter. looks ok n nothing out of ordinary. not much dirt. :pray:

 

got lobang where to do carb clean? n how much pocket burn? :?

 

sorry so many questions. noob at bikes.

AMK,Try not to go to Nan WAH will cut Carrot and Orange and finally will ask to replace entire Carb LOL.......problems which you know was not there will also be there once the mech touches the bike...

Carb cleaning around 20 - 30 buck. You can go West for future scootering at bukit batok. Or ac motor serangoon. Or taihin at kaki bukit. Amk nan wah

 

Thanks bro mudai! went to taihin just now. told d guy of my problem then check check, seems d shop yest i go to chg engine oil didnt drain my engine oil completely. then on top of that he put in 1.0l of engine oil.

 

same time go n change spark plugs also. all in all burnt 65 for the items plus service.

Just now I was at taihin also noon, white gts 200. Complaining hahaha. They told me the broken parts it's not their.. Seem it's over lubes. Is this ur first time you changing oil on that workshop ?

After noticing most of the service workshop.. really need to be careful before going to them. Now im getting use to buy my own parts, and ask them for labor only.. most of the thing already happened to me is battery, carb needle, and i suspect my roller too.. they charge something but it's not installed.

Finally.. the YSS is installed.. apparently it's perfect fit.. test it out.. i feel the difference.. while cornering usualy my bike is a bit swinging.. now it's steady.. feel the tire grip is better that the old one

my bike got new Foot now.. but i have to go back taihin tomorrow.. the needle break again.. :puke:
