my apologies for the previous few polls. cant seems to get it right. but please ignore the polls if it dont not comeout right. i am seeking views and opinions.

been lookin at these few cars recently. still cant decide which wan to buy, as we all noe that buying a car is a long time assets, cannot be like bike like that every year can change if u dun like it...... so must consider properly beside spending ur hard earn cash. i always believe that u must enjoy wat u have bought or else its consider a waste of money. here are some of the pros and cons on the cars (in my views and wat i have gather so far from friends and relative):

Honda 1.5 vtec MT

pros: nice interior package for a mini car, plus manual gear (i perfer manual than auto) plus some performance ( some power will be good for occasional speeding and overtaking but of cos spore so small dun really need a turbo car) great FC. many mods both interior, performance and body kits)

Cons: very exp - 59K, spare parts for honda quite exp. PI car.

Honda Airwave Skyroof 1.5 Vtec AT

Pros: i love the the skyroof (that's wat attracted me, I am a sucker for sunroof), it really makes the car very nice, and its spacious

its a honda fit with a big boot. its a 5 seater car

Cons: seems abit underpower, due to its weight. price at 62K. not much body kits, PI car

Hyundai Getz 1.6 MT

Pros: clever sporty 3DR mini. many mods avail, economical price (43K)

Cons: its a korea car, so still will haf the cant make it for long mind set. FC is a question. durability. resale value and OMV value.

Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 MT

Pros: sporty, many mods available. economical price (44K). value for $$$

Cons: performance seems a bit lacking, many comment on the weak low end, but strong mid range and stable handling. FC is weak, its a heavy car with a old but proven engine.

So wat will u all choose? if can give ur views. BTW, my views are also subjective and its all from friends and relative. i stress that i am not the all "correct" views here. its an open topic but please stick to topic.

Many thanks in advance for those that contribute.

The new vios is open for booking at 48k+ for the most basic version. It's still using the same engine which is known to be powerful, reliable yet fuel saving.

If based on the 4 choices, I'd rather u go for Fit...

out of these choices, 101% i will surely go for airwave.

- Fit/jazz

look too small and girly to me.

- Getz

korean make(build quality and realiabilty) and high FC = nono .

- Lancer

old engine/technology. cheap because new model coming out.

Lotsa poser who mod until look like EVO. big spoiler, lotsa stickers, etc.

- Airwave

quite spacious.

lower it and change to bigger nicer rims, tint the rear/back windows.

Look very sporty.

and the FC is very good too.

the car feel quite stable around the corners, guess it's partly due to the centre fuel tank design.

by the way, if u really like a sun roof, the fit has an option for sun roof k. by the way, am driving a 1.5fit manual. no regrets abt it.

I'm also considering the 1.5Fit MT. May I know where you got quoted 59K? Which Version? COE?

Thanks.

if $ i not a problem i will go for air wave...

but air wave is at least 15k more expensive than lancer..

in terms of fc, 15k can cover that

in terms of performance 15k can go malaysia put turbo le..

in terms of apearance 15k also can make until watever kit u wan..

15k not alot but can do qt many things if u use wisely..

to me if i would go for lancer or getz to mod til fast and ferious...

FIT 1.5 VTEC anytime  Many aftermarket parts, space wise not as bad except not much boot space... fuel consumption is good, and its a HONDA... well lancer is not too bad also but too common liaoz

Failure is the route to success...

Bro, u may want to consider a vios. Its cheap (arnd 48K) safe (2 airbags with GOA bodyframe) space (ok interior but huge boot space)

out of those choices, i will consider FIT. Infact it was one of my top choice when i was shopping for a car last year. It looks small but u'll be surprise at how spacious it is as compare to other small sedans and hatchbacks. Plus engine has gd FC.

But in the end, i took a VIOS instead. Although nt as spacious, but the FC is gd. I think u have to look at yourself when u talk about gd FC. If u have a heavy right foot and like to accelerate fast, no matter whether u're driving a FIT or VIOS, the FC will be high. I'm a driver who takes it easy that's y my AT Vios has very gd FC. The only time i'm slightly faster is when i'm out riding on wkends.
